When I travel the world or head to the bush, now that we're past the foot-loose stage of pre-children when we'd travel together, or when we had very young children and we all went together, she takes care of the garden(s) and the dogs and supports me in many ways.she doesn't fish, she doesn't like shrimp...why did you marry her again ? you sound like me actually. only thing my wife and i have in common is our kids. at least, she SAYS they are mine...
Have u tried blumats?I sort of mastered absences of 5-7 days with no one here, leaving mothers in their cupboards, with the LED 4' tubes turned off in the cupboards, with the fans turned off, and just enough water that with no air movement, they don't get too bone dry, and they don't sponsor mold/fungus. It's a balancing act but can be done.
I recognize the name, but know nothing about them. So, no, I've never tried them...Have u tried blumats?

wow, how did i miss this post earlierI mean _no_ disrespect whatsoever to you pop_rocks (I frequently piss off people I like without knowing about it, with my not so humble opinions ). I absolutely love your posts and where you live in SD, the only place in CA I would relocate to... just couldn't afford the La Jolla nursing homes now.
But... here in the SouthEast mountains, we would laugh at that being called biscuits and gravy. Store-bought biscuits, probably Jimmy Dean sausage crumbled up in that milky / flowery mess that probably tastes more like paste than gravy.
Just like us SouthEastern folks couldn't do fish tacos the way they should really be done in SD, biscuits and gravy anywhere other than the SouthEast would probably make me hurl.
_Real_ red eye gravy will not only make your toes curl, it'll wake your ass up like you could never imagine. No flour in red eye gravy whatsoever, nothing but country ham renderings, jet black coffee and pepper mixed together, and boiled down to a thicker consistency.
With the heavy Scotch/Irish influence here in the SouthEast, it's hard for me to imagine that anyone from GB would consider biscuits sweet and cookie like here in th U.S., but then again, the immigrants from GB in the SoutheEast, in the early 1900s, we're not exactly the tea and crumpets crowd.
is that available to you all the time? how do you get itminke whale. slightly gamey, no fat at all. super tasty
sounds like a feast fit for a great dad~!With it being fathers day my daughter ❤ brought me back a roast sirloin of beef dinner with all the trimmings, was a really enjoyable meal and surprise followed by a slice of oreo cheese cake (I'm chuffed to bits) as I wasn't expecting it..
Happy fathers day peeps...
Thank you my friend I find any type of food tends to taste better when cooked/served by somebody else besides yourselfis that available to you all the time? how do you get it
ive never tried whale and can imagine how it would taste, slightly gamey like in a fishy way?
have you every tried other species of whale?
sounds like a feast fit for a great dad~!
we can get it frozen all year round. but right now is hunting season, so we get it fresh in the market. never tried any other type of whale, we only hunt the minke. other types of whale was mostly caught for their blubber for oil making. thankfully that's a thing of the past. taste is very difficult to describe, a hint of game and a bit of liver but good. (don't like liver)is that available to you all the time? how do you get it
