A pipeline is the most efficient way to transport hydrocarbons safely. The way they are replacing the gas with LNG is jacking the costs way up. For all the euros, because of supply/demand. And the funniest part is the Chinese are bottling Russian gas into LNG and selling it to the euros.

you are absolutely right. if you are going to try to blackmail someone by cutting them off, you want to be able to turn the tap back on "if" they capitulate...by leaving one functional, they set that up. if they had ALL blown up, i would suspect Ukraine.
