It´s psychologic warfare. The russians wanted that the people in germany or europe force their goverments to use russian gas again, in the case of cold apartments and not working industry. In germany, better east germany is a strong community which is a friend of russia. It has to do with broken dreams, growing up with socialistic ideals and a lost country, the GDR. The russians want to sow discord between the people. The pipelines are useless only good for propaganda now.

Gas price since early 90s in the Netherlands.At the moment some are paying €3.37/m3, myself €2.69/m3, although gas price has gone down to even €0.50/m3 on the market.For most people gas price will stay high, although the tanks are full.

Diesel will become more expensive the coming months.Russia can deliver, but the EU banned Russian oil.It will be interesting the coming months.
