Tequila has exerted tremendous gravitational attraction upon my physical form on more than several occasions. We agreed it was best to separate and never speak to each other again.

if it is a matter of giving Russia whatever they want or have a nuclear war, i think we should tell him to go for it, and see if the cocksucker is serious... if his nuclear forces are no better than his regular army, it will be a very short war. his military does not seem nearly as committed to "the cause" as he is.
All the computer and other projections show the USA losing and the world vs Russia s we cannot stop all the missiles.

There are no winners in a nuclear war, that's why they call it MAD. I suspect there will be a limited use of nuclear weapons before this is over as we have to SHOW the People the horrors of nuclear war so it is never used again. But it won't be the Russians doing it.

It's funny that you believe:

1. it's missing
2. it's high tech
There was a period during the cold war that the Soviet Union was broke (probably about like they are now, or similar), oil was not cutting it for them, and they would pose trucks with cut-out plywood missiles and launchers on them for our satellites to see.

Even when it was known they had difficulty keeping up with the arms race financially, they were steadfastly posturing as having more in their arsenal than they did, as a matter of a sort of psy-op defense system.

I know it's your drink, and I also know it's a rarity these days.

But that stuff tastes dirty. I mean like dirt. I understand that there's no accounting for taste, and everyone likes something different.

I found that Irish whiskey goes down like a Saigon whore because I can't really notice it due to its smooth clean taste.

If I drink bourbon it's a hard swallowing burn. I definitely notice the volume of liquor I consume due to the spice and heat.

Perhaps you have decided that the distinctive funk in tequila serves the same purpose as the bourbon burn...??

I may have just reminded myself that there are options for a light drinking night... if I stick with tequila I will only drink one or two.

Scotch... I can't drink more than one.

I find bourbon undrinkable, mezcal is for mixing unless done really well, a reposado tequila, if not too 'woody' or charcoal-flavored from the barrel is nice, but lately I've followed a friend's lead and have been buying blanco or silver tequila; recently a couple bottles of Casamigos Blanco.

My wife likes Scotch; I've not noted the attraction, other than for it not being bourbon.
If whiskey is to be involved, then a smooth Canadian whiskey is apt to be my preference.

I've been graced with rarely craving an alcohol buzz, per se'
