I dont see much progression at all. Just cooler gadgets and toys.

My cousin who lives n of paris w his family, it took 2 months for him to get a bank statement in the mail from a bank in KS

I don't know what Trump said, but if he said the above, he is correct. There is also a confusion of terminology which, like all our language & vocabulary, is decided in the media. If you test positive and never show a symptom, you do not have "a case of COVID-19," the disease caused by the SARS-2 coronavirus, you are carrying the virus and are asymptomatic. The press calls 100 positive tests "100 cases." Perhaps a small number of the 100 are actual cases of COVID-19. Children generally carry the virus at no risk to themselves, but some do get sick and even the ones who don't get sick may infect and kill their grandparents or someone else.
By the way: SARS-2 and the disease have been transmitted between humans and dogs, cats, mink, certain Chinese species, and probably others, besides bats. SARS-1, which caused MERS, was transmitted by camels.
