When you criticised the US killing civilians in conflicts you were called anti-American, not Christianophobic. Don’t know why this is different.

Also don’t know why no one realises you’re actually just anti-nation states using their military to murder civilians.
I've always been anti-bully, anti-asshole, anti-boundary violators, anti-thief, anti-liar, anti-rapist, anti-tyrant, anti-murderer, and more. Looks like with Israel I've got a BINGO of my anti's!

"But wait!! There's more!!"

Not that the US has a history of playing global chess and fucking the place up or anything.

And remember, it was primarily Saudis on those aircraft on 9/11, funded in part by Saudi Royal Family money.
“We need the Saudis. Better bomb the shit out of Afghanistan and Iraq.”

To me, the relationship with the murderous Royal Saudi Family, just reminds me of how often my Country becomes fixed to the tits of despots... for opportunistic State Dept and DoD/military reasons, of course.

One of the few 'functioning' 'mutual proxies' I've witnessed in my lifetime.

The US globalist DoD and State Dept gets their questionable strategic foothold and resource access in the Middle East, while Israel (via AIPAC $) has our 'patriotic and independent' Congress scared witless/shitless of saying "No" to Israel's playbook in any audible manner.

Not quite a true case of symbiosis, but.....

I guess on the bright side, Israeli military forces didn't try to sink the USS George H.W. Bush like they did the USS Liberty.

They did say ‘oops, sorry about that’.
Yep, and claimed that the US flag was not visible, after they'd torpedoed the ship and strafed it.

My understanding is that IDF had just executed (kneeling and bound) Syrian POWs on the seaside of the dunes, in plain view of the USS Liberty, which was acting at that time as a 'listening' (observer) ship.

What a coincidence.

I interpreted the attack on the USS Liberty as a "Mind your own business" kind of statement.

Couldn’t see the flag, the hull classification symbol and number, use the radio, or notice the lack of heavy armaments.

Yep, all conventional modes of confirmation simply weren't utilized. Shock!
Even less explainable than the US Air Guard A-10s in Afghanistan that strafed the Canadian Forces APC's with depleted uranium cannon fire after violating protocol re. waiting on confirmation via the radio comm as to whether or not there were friendlies in the area. Never mind the maple leaves on top of the tracks.

"Get SOME!!!"

My assumption has been that the letter is for public relations - Bibi and Biden talk on the phone so it’s a bit redundant, and that the troops on the ground are to tie Irans hands behind its back when Israel hits it.

The embassy bombings, as you know, occurred during Lebanons brutal civil war. And in Beirut, not Jerusalem. Coincidentally, have just been reading about the Sabra and Shatila massacre from that period.

Iran has been very careful with their retaliatory strikes so far. Deterrence, not escalation. My feeling is Israel would have to do something batshit - like assassinate the Ayatollah (certainly possible considering the lack of restraint shown so far) before Iran would be willing to risk hitting US troops.

Also depends on how good Iranian/Hezbollah intelligence is. If they know where all US troops are stationed, they may strike elsewhere.

But, Iran wasn’t involved in the conflict at all, and Hezbollah did not exist until Israel invaded Lebanon back then. And here we are again. Lesson noted. Thanks @buzzmobile
