The only reason hamas exists is because of the actions taken by Zionist terrorists. Everything that's happening has a legitimate starting point and it was started by the Zionists lol.I have to say, no ones solutions, diplomatically speaking, feel like good solutions.
This whole region is destabilized and only seem to be getting worse due to the failed experiment of nation building and the numerous failed attempts at peaceful negotiations.
The past had important details regarding the history of what happened but can either side ever move on from it?
More than one thing can hold true at once. The Israelis are not denouncing this war and seem to be in popular support of it. On the other end, the Palestinians and other Islamic groups will not denounce Hamas and seem to support their actions and charter.
No wonder peace is impossible. There are two groups of very stubborn people, no one will compromise. However, one side is clearly more powerful than the other.
I think both sides are guilty of lies and manipulation.
The only way for this to stop would be for the larger nations, with their influence, like the US and Iran, to negotiate a resolution for these two groups that are incapable of negotiating one for themselves, and hold them accountable. That is really unlikely to happen so I fully expect this conflict to balloon at some point into a larger and more devastating war.
Why would people stuck in a concentration camp all their lives denounce hamas? The number one Hamas recruiter is Israel. You can't execute entire families while locking them in a blockade their entire lives and not expect retaliation.
The solution is simple. Like apartheid South Africa, this regime and state must fall and everyone involved including western governments and media need to be prosecuted (which is never going to happen as long as the US exists).
