I don't do the ph thing. I checked my tap water once and it was some where between 6-7. Hard to say exactly because I was using the paper strip test things. I was told not to worry about my ph by the bloke who taught me to grow in soil also by a grow shop owner. This always happens when I go into flower. I vegged 7 weeks and had no problems,1 week into flower and it starts.

Just saw that you're spraying your plants with neem - make sure you only spray during the "night".

If you do it during the "day", water droplets on leaves will act as tiny magnifying glasses and cause burnt spots on your leaves.

I hate spraying anything on my plants, besides water. I just use mosquito dunks and sticky cards when the gnats get bad. Works every time for me. Takes a few days though.

Yeah I've caused some burn spots on the leaves,I try to let them dry out before I put them back in tent but where some of the leaves were touching I think it trapped liquid and I got a few small but marks. I'm pretty sure it's a calcium problem.

Hi,problem seems to be under control. It's only the old leaves that were affected by the spots. I've been giving calmag with very weak feed 1ml per litre and I've sprayed twice with a weak Epsom solution. All new and medium growth is a nice healthy green. 1 week of flower done today. All bushing out nice,I'm happy. Picture is just after a spray.

It's all going south. It's progressing all through plants apart from gg#4. I ain't uploading anymore photos as plants look like shite and I can't stand looking at them. I will update when finnished and let you all know what the outcome was. This is the worst they have ever got with it. After this one's done I'm bleaching all surfaces and fuming the room and if it still happens with next grow I'm gonna have to knock it all on the head for my own sanity.

What I'm going to do next time is switch back to organic and get some decent soil. I will add Epsom from an early stage. Just talking to myself

This is the worst of the 2. It just won't stop so I'm flushing right now with a weak calmag mix. 30 litres is right for 10ltr pots? The other ain't as bad and seems to have stop spreading but I might still flush it in a couple of days. Does it look hungry or is that just the lockout? I will start feeding small quantities when it's dried out from the flush.

you plants are hungry. making buds requires a lot of magnesium and calcium, you need to turn up, not down.

So how much of the recomeded dose of 3ml of bloom should I use when she has dried out that is?. I've just flushed her,this is what happens when I'm left to my own devices haha. I've given calmag for about 4 weeks now so it must be getting locked out I've also sprayed regularly with Epsom but had to stop as I'm in flower.

The nutes in this soil must be running out. When I used to get run off from watering it would be a dark piss colour. After the 1st couple of bottles of water into the flush it was coming out pretty much clear.

I just caught a seat; I had a friend that swore by miracle gro and he uses the soil and the nutrient fertilizer.

Every thought about it? I tried the recipes and they work without all the yellowing. I even got some yellowing; bought some miracle grow fertilizer and cleaned it all up.

I've used mg soil from my very 1st grow. For a few years worked great no problems and great results,then this calcium and magnesium problem started and it has stuck ever since. I've changed soils and switched to organic,then switched back. The whole time trying to fix this. Still happening with cal mag and sprays of Epsom. I even got paranoid last winter about it being my equipment so although I couldn't really afford it I brought a new tent & filter + fan kit. Still my last 2 grows have been hit. Every grow gets a little worse. No I've never even seen mg ferts apart from house plant and tomatoe feed. I've said before I'm probably guilty of letting them get hungry for fear of burning them in this soil. Hence this flush so I feel safer adding feeds. I need some luck

Can someone advise me on how Much of recommended dose of bloom I should start giving plants after I've flushed them. They should be on 3ml. The one pictured above I flushed last night but it already looks hungry,the other is still dark green but has the same symptoms to a lesser extent. I want to flush the other tomorrow. the gg#4 looks healthy and is producing crystals already so must be fine, I don't want to risk upsetting her . So far I've only been feeding her once a weak at half strength.

I've torn down all the plants. I give up,they was not improving and just continued to get worse. Nobody can tell me what the problem is. Everyone has give an opinion about what they think it is but were wrong and I don't have a clue. It was stressful seeing them look worse everyday and had developed a massive fungas gnats problem the soil was crawling with them. Never seen so many. Gonna take some time off and do some reading to see if I can figure out what's been going wrong every grow I've tried recently.

This is the very reason I stick to hydro. Much simpler to just dump and start over.

Don't give up. Back up, reevaluate, and go again.

growing in dirt is the easiest thing in the world IMO and i cant believe you have give in just like that bro! your meant to learn from your mistakes and carry on learning! you had all the advice u needed in here i havnt read the whole thread but seems you cant handle the stress to well... its a stressful game mate but listen! go buy a quality bag of soil n organic nutes buy a cheap ph pen then come back and we'll guarantee you grow some top draw smoke!(ph pen is not even needed but its good to have a clue what the ph of water straight from tap is for a gauge)

get rid of the MG please i bet u had larve munching ur young feeder roots like gannets ph is prob way off from the bag then.. after that its non stop probs.. could of been sorted but you threw a wobbly n chopped em up lol

get some biobizz allmix, and theyre grow/bloom.. then come back it'll cost about 30 notes to fill that tent bro. i prefer canna bio range but bio bizz is still the bollix you get some sweet quialty herb using it and its dumb proof!
