Vision seeds northern lights and gg#4

Hi maggers, gonna start a grow diary and try to stick with it this time. So I had 2 VISION seeds northern lights seedlings and they looked lonely for the past week or 2 under a cfl but luckily I was donated 3 gorilla glue #4 cuts yesterday so now the NL's have company. After a headache getting the cuts home (the car broke down) I have potted them up and I let them settle in under a cfl for the night. The cuts have started to bounce back so I've put the mh over them.
a little bit of info on my equipment, don't make fun of it either lol

1.5x1.5 tent
400w mh for veg
600w hps for flower
They will Finnish in 10ltr pots
I'm using miracle grow soil, i know people hate on it but I've never had any problems. I've used the expensive grow soil and I find it easier with mg soil.
Plant magic soil bloom, booster and calmag. (not using veg feed as mg has plenty of food for veg)

And that's about it folkes, any questions just ask.... Oh and here's a picture as they stand

I was messing with my camera settings for a while trying to get a photo without the flickering and that's about as good as I got. At least you can see my rooms clean lol

3 days ago I potted up the NL seedlings and one of them is already putting roots out of bottom of its new pot. I love the plant magic granules, roots always grow so quick and thick. Unfortunately I was so rushed potting the gg#4 cuts I forgot to add the granules, bummer. They will get a dose when they go into final pots.

The fan is on low and not on the plants,400mh is 2 ft away. I've not watered since transplant on Friday night . Temp don't get higher than 26c. Everyday they look a little more messed up. Please help

First pic looks like its in a tent??? I'd assume too much light. Maybe ph issue in soil. Also maybe overfed but looked a little curled already I. First shots.. Gl

Do they have any bugs u can see? And can I see abit of PM on bottom of last pic.

U should water little n often while young like that.

Yeah they didn't look to great to start with and yeah they in tent but to the side of the light. Only the northern lights is directly under the lamp and they look great. To me the leaves look like they are drying up I don't know if this translates good in the photos

I 've sprayed them for mites and when I checked them with a friend before spraying we found no signs of mites. Just sprayed as precaution .what's pm? I haven't watered since transplant on Friday,I water well in so shouldn't need water for a week after going into big pots. I will take a better photo of my northern lights seedlings that look awesome when my mobs charged which are in the same tent, soil and more directly under the lamp. It's just the clones that look stressed. Maybe I'm just paranoid.

PM = power mildew. But as you sprayed them it may be residue from that. Hitting them with a fungicide won't hurt either.

Maybe the miracle grow compost isn't working for you this time lol bio bizz or canna ftw

Did you ph correct before watering? Soil looks bit hot for them

I was taught not to ph ya water in soil because the soil buffers. When I first started using these forums I started to believe I did need to adjust my ph but when I went to the grow shop the owner told me again I don't need to. Never had ph issues before. Someone came to look at the clones earlier and he said the smaller 2 are still pushing out roots, that's why they look dry and yellow. I've put plastic bottles over the top to act as humidity domes and placed the plants in the corners of tents away from lamp. Just going to stop stressing, whatever will be, will be.

Ph is the most important aspect when using chemical nutes like mg....

"Soil" refers to organic growing which is definately not mg soil. Prob why your hydro guy said dont worry as you told him your growing in soil.

Consider promix which is a soil based product. Depending on how its used can be a hydro medium or an organic medium....

All I know is I've had many successful grows using mg soil, in fact I've found is less finicky than grow show soil. I used plagron once and plant magics soil and had magnesium and calcium problems. The only problem I've ever had with mg soil is them little flys lol. Think the problems been diagnosed now,it's them still not fully rooted and not being able to take up enough water under the light. That's why they look dry and a bit yellow.

I just wanted to show you how the northern lights looks,I gave them the backseat in this grow but it looks like they're gonna be the stars lol

Then there is this gg#4 clone thats doing great, got new growth popping up.... Even though its in mg soil that some seem to think is the problem with the other 2 clones.

Then there is these two, still looking sad. I'm getting real close to just throwing these 2 out.

The picture of the healthy clone should silence the mg soil haters,it's the same strain as the UN healthy clones so if it was the soil causing the problems it would effect them all.
