Is that really why he was banned?

Sharing largely unseen and in some cases unknown, almost lost, vintage photography that many of us younger members might never have seen was a great thing and it certainly enriched my icmag experience. Thanks four_seasons.

i'll post regular, just be a bit slow, maybe 1-2 pics/articles a week or so
i'll check out the Nov. 1976 issue next, hopefully some reasonable pics there
May 1975 really had nothing in the pic department, probably just that issue
there was a mildly interesting article on pests titled 'Mother Nature's Narcs-Pot Plant Parasites'

found these on some sativa thread in strains and hybrids
i think the thai and Oaxacan look the best and look almost like a crappy sativa a guy in my area grows (he grows it poorly it's not bad weed) and correct me if i'm wrong but that Hawaiian bud looks like a hybrid heavy on the sativa
interesting to see in 1977 if it is correct me i'm wrong

Idk so does any one know of any other sites that would have som more cannabis information as well as photos but it's articles I want to read and I understand people are reluctant to post stuff that could get them or icmag into trouble
I found some stuff on mr nice on Neville though that might be the article already linked in pages past

Honestly I doubt how much of the bannings were related to this.

most of these articles are from "r" dope connoisseur. Who seems to have vanished completely, nobody even knowing who the pseudonym is, much less threats to sue.

To top it off HT really isn't bad at all about these kinda things. At the Ultimate Sativa Thread back at OG some folks had done a very similar thing, and Danny Danko of HT passed by, thought it was neat, and offered to photo copy any specific articles I might be looking for since they have every issue on the shelves at their HQ.

There were no threats to sue or copyright infringement.

So far we've had two complaints from one bumbaclot about an obscure book from the 70's. "Sensimilla flowers" I think it was called and I doubt that one complaint got two people banned. At most the post in question would have been deleted, IMHO.

Hoosier probably got in trouble for arguing with greatful head, and I don't know what happened to 4 seasons.

Little late to the party here, but I have to say thank you very much to fourseasons and everyone else who contributed. What an amazing thread, not only to those who remember the time, but for others like me who are young and curious.

Time to hit the sack. :thank you:

HT November, 1976

HT November, 1976

tardy on my promise, but here is the centerfold from November, 1976
used a flatbed scanner that i seldom use(old scanner/computer), pic could be better
maybe another try if sufficient interest
the description sounds like this was from a California grow, ancestor of who knows what Cali strains?

EDIT: ok, that pic was pretty bad, did some more tweaking in the gimp and 2nd is much closer to original images color, the 'glowing greens' are real
