I really like the VaporDoc. It is reasonably priced, around $150 - and although mine have only lasted for about 6-9 months on average, it's still worth it. (this is my third one)

My roomate has the cordless Vapir. It doesn't work that well. It is super fancy, and great if you go on road-trips or have some reason for it being cordless.

any1 know where i can get a vapour bros in uk, i followed the link above to the vapewarehouse website, but they only deliver in us, at the equivalent of around 85 pounds uk, i can afford that to start vaping before i spend all my money on a vapir and then a volcano

My VaporDoc is great it is just like yours GIS
I have Gone through two of them also. Started looking at the insides and found that the heater coil looked just like soldering Iron I use all the time. Went and bought a new soldering iron for 16.00 and took it apart and sure enough SAME PART as in vapordoc ! Put new part in and I'm back in business. Make sure you reuse heat shield covering old wire. Hope this helps.

far as i know there is nothing toxic about thc.


the other night i was in a room full of patients using the volcano.
the guy put a lot of butane honey oil and kif in the thing, and it seemed like it might have been helping the other patients,
but i got near nothing from it.

i think my problem with vapor is that it can't "combust" enough medicine at one time.

the volcano slowly melts medicinal "flavors..."

when a patient is in this much pain:
vapor is like sucking on an ice cube,
when what you really need is something more like being drowned under a waterfall.

I have to second "growerinshorts" testimony for a VaporDoc. I truly enjoyed mine and really felt I have gotten my money worth from it. It really makes any bud taste AMAZING, and homegrown buds are just out of this world tasty (even after a short cure).


Hey growerinshorts, mine aswell has only last in intervals of like 3-4 months, but are you buying a new one every time? (if you are, btw, you are able to send them back and they will fix the heating element for like 20 dollars)

seth.... i understand too well. i've always felt that expansion in my lungs tells a greater story about the herb that anything. i've rigged my vaporizer with my bong and vallah ~ a sure fire way to get my meds with results ~

Einstein - Where did you get the soldering iron? Is it a common product I could find most likely? I have been frustrated with the vapordoc because of the heat element breaking. And YES, I am retarded and bought a new one each time lol, well I traded for them at least. I feel like an idiot, thank you for letting me know about this.

Same to you bartender187.. thank you for letting me know they repair it. I wish I would have done this last time. Although I upgraded to the hands free version....oh well.

Growerinshorts - Most any handheld soldering iron will work. If you take apart vapordoc and remove heat element. You will see the end of it will be steel with hole under lip. This is where solderpoint goes inon soldering iron. You will reconize the part on the soldering iron right away.(Only steel tip shows until disassembled.) Also try to find one that the metal part is connected to the plastic handle with screws. This makes it easy to take apart. The wires on heat element can not be soldered so they just twist together on both items.

Thanks for the info guys, While my VB is still cranking, its good to know where to get replacement parts if nec, and to know that I can probably get it repaired. Ordered another VB today for the 1st floor of my home, so's I don't have to cart it up and down stairs.

Hi All,
I have recently purchased a Vapor Doc...
It has taken me awhile to learn what
temprature tohave it dialed to.
I like the Taste Nice each time, UNTIL,
it goes yellow to light brown, STOP, time
to dump and refill. I was told to stir bowl after each
hit, HHmmmnnn.
Any way I am still learning. I WANTED a Volcano
(saw it in Amsterdam) but here in my CA shop they
wanted 700 dollars!!! WHOA!
Any how I am so pleased to see the names of
all the other brands I knew nothing about.
Any web-sites on them?
And could you vap-oldies tell us nubies "just what
is the best way" "Taste" or "color" to know when your
done? Also any information on usage would be
appreciated.

With my Vapor Brothers unit, the volume of exhaled vapor becomes less and less. At a certain point, it seems too little, so I stop, clean and replace.

Hi All,
I have been using one for about 4 months
since our trip to Amsterdam. ( so glad to
hear about bill)
I have a VaporDoc (vapordoc.com),
I find I use less marajuana now but,
I can also tell when it's not the greatest.
I could before now it's really noticable.
I ordered a Blue Meanie, Alas, it has a
Euorpean plug and I am in Calif. BOO HOO.
So I have this new one I cannot use) I have
contacted the company)...
Looks like (is) a mason jar screwed onto a blue base
with a metal cup (place MJ there). Any way unknown
as to how it smokes.
I do know when the bowl is done...ha ha...I cough
like I'm losing a lung Of course if I am paying
attention that does not happen often Which I must
do or I throw my back out and it all becomes counter-
productive...medicinally speaking.

Hey ZOE, Can you give us newbie vaper's a lesson
in proper vaping??? ( i know we all use different items)

Anyone try one of these units? very cool, load up with ice and water , very nice especially those with lung problems, gets you to cough out that garbage, Ive got a few aids-patients who just love them for good reasons, the high very crystal clear. for pain ( I have extreme prem. nerve damage from a crushing mishap in 95)

im looking to an alternative to smoking.i quit smoking ciggerettes 38 months ago.i still can taste them and get urges but have not smoked.on the other hand,i have not smoked herb in 43 months.kinda got in trouble and my freedom was more important.im an old stoner.getting ready for my first grow.i cant afford to buy anything and dont know where to buy safe.i figure if i learn to grow,i can eat or vape.i figure it takes more.i just wondered if vapping was like smoking.do you get pleasure from the smell and the taste.my lungs are not totaly gone.i could probably smoke.it would be ashamed to grow good strains and not enjoy the taste and aroma and romance before the buzz.i am affraid that i may start back smoking ciggerettes if i start smoking weed.it is the hardest vice i ever gave up in my life and i must say that i feel much better now.some have told me that smoking herb will not make you crave ciggerrettes.but i think it will.anyone been in these shoes???what do you think
