uthengers plants are starting to grow nicely. Gorilla ganja would have started those plants earlier ( by June 1 ) but what the hell does he know.
keep up the good work and try not smoke it all before it's ready
Peace GG

You are right about the earlier planting, but the seeds were for some reason ordered lately.
Also keep up the good work you too GG, I saw your grow diary.

Summary as for today

Summary as for today

I have learned how to upload properly the images, so I will make an abstract of the grow as for today 13th. Uthenger gave me today the pictures .
Also the native soil (~40-50%) was amended when transplanting the seedlings with ~50% potting soil on transplant and some perlite, 5% maybe the max. Uthenger does not use any insect repellent on his plants, also he sprays himself instead, there are many deer-ticks (so far the record was 13/trip). He has places only one stick of long release fertilizer rod for the Freebies, and 2/plant for the Northern Lights.
Watering is by hand (as he can carry) and by Mother Nature and on local conditions (slight slope, dense vegetation that protects the soil from evaporation) etc.

The story started on June 12 (then 18, 26, 4, 9, 13) for the NL's autos and Freebie 1-2 regulars, and on 18 fro the rest. So here we go:

Also here are two pictures of the JH1 auto as for July 13. The pistils start to die and became orange, all the trichomes are clear, some fan leaves are turning N deficient.
Uthenger is planning to harvest on 1st o August (that should be 7 weeks o lowering). Also the test buds - dried fast by placing them to GR exhaust heat - as I heard are very cerebral, dry mouth and eyes and zero sleepy feel factor.

Today uthenger visited his 3rd spot out of 4. There he noticed some deer damage, one of the plant was bitten on the stem, but the deer did not eat the top, was left there to dry out.
There is fishing line around the perimeter, now he is worried about the efficiency - JH1 on spot2 could be in danger.

either that or put a cow fence wire. like a couple of them... they come in wire bales that weigh about 7 -10 lbs and u can string this around your grow then hook it up to a car battery
use gloves or just have hooks that have rubber insulators for when u go to disconnect the circuit. this will be effective trust me.

Price: wire 30 $
car battery: 12$
rubber insulator wire handles: 10$
Total price 53$

Slender,

mhhhh deer.

try here
u can either piss on the ground.
or use chicken wire but ime this is not ideal.

use this repellent tape around them...... just make it hanging around it on fish line etc.

The chicken wire is only thing that can stop a deer, but this is not an option, the hillside is very visible from below.
The deer will learn fast that the other repellent methods does not mean any danger.
As I have read, the rotten egg solution or human/animal blood is pretty effective deterring the deer, maybe uthenger will use the rotten egg solution.
Also this site is not so important, will see if the plants survive.

rabbit or deer

rabbit or deer

It was a rabbit.

Indeed the bite was low on stem (only 25 cm/10 inches or so), and the fishing line(s) were untouched, but about 7-10 meters from the plant there is an active fox-hole.Uthenger also has found the top of the plant, there was a bite mark on the stem cca. 6 cm/2,5" apart, he concluded that is the size of distance from the molars from a deer. Also this is one of the spots where last year the whole crop was eaten. There are many deers in the surrounding forest (they making lout "danger" sound when uthenger is going thru the forrest to reach the growing spot. There is a large open grassland area next to, so should support many rabbits, uthenger never saw one in the area.

gotcha! use the blood and rotten egg solution. fuk it.. it should work. make sure its an animal with blood properties that deers DO NOT like.

put snares etc and rabbit traps..easy enough P.S my neighbor is a hardcore hillbilly catches 5 a day in snares. if it is a rabbit that will deter them

I would buy a Tiger and use a electric collar to keep it in my plot area.
Also come hunting season Set up a tree stand over plot and pop a few deer.
