:yay:

can't be no worse than the SSH that i ran ..... those stretched for over a month !!!! :plant grow:
might have to do one like that .... 1 big bush in a 20 gallon pot & just spread her out !!!

You dry your plants in total drakness? I dry in the same area as my veg tent on 18/6. The screen room is 10x20. One end has the tent the other end is the drying area. IMO keeping enough ligh on for your seeedlings is not going to do any harm to the drying plants. 4-5 days on total darkness will stress them. thats a long time with no light.

Light degrades thc over time. you would not be able to tell a plant thats been dried in a light area or a dark area. Everything I have grown has been dried in a lighted area. I have never had any complaints. I would not leave the lights off for that long. I would think they will lose color and wilt.

No not normally , i always hung them in the main part of the attic . it had some light , just not much . i figured it would be best to have the seedlings in total darkness for a 4 to 5 day span would be better than having some light in there for that time .
I dunno .... thats why i'm asking :)

what kind of stress would no light be doing to the plants ???

I can throw a couple single tube T5's in there below the hangers & above the veggers if ya think that would be better . but i'm not gonna run the 600mh while i'm drying in there !!!

I run my 600 in the same area but its 10' away from the drying plants. The area doesn't get very warm now. In the summertime @100F I never noticed any issue with the final product. If thats what you feel comfortable with leave something on.

for sure the seedlings cant go that long without light...

back in the day the old columbian gold was sun cured and that stuff was the bomb so i would say light on the drying buds is less harmful than seedlings without light..

Looks like I have 4 good clones of the OG Mango. I treated the whole plant with forbid/Avid/Azamax. I then cut off all cuts that could be clones. I ended up with 8. 4 have roots 4 do not but I expect them to have some soon.

First wanna say thanks for all the great responses! :thank you:

Dan, I agree with OC and UNC, put a little light on them. Phil said he has done it both ways, and sees no difference. He was doing it how OC does. And hes a stickler for quality. And if OC does the same and reports the same, im inclined to believe it.
Plus, your just talking a t5 or 2, right? thats all your seedlings will need for that 4-5 day period. The plants will just think its an overcast week.

All the plants seem to be extremely happy right now. Yours look good to Unc.. I think that 600 with the gavita hood really helped. I was using the same but with bare bulb plus t5. I can see a difference in them now. All are much more vigorous and green. I just got done topping the 3 that are getting a super long veg at least 3x on ea plant.

i have all new bulbs throughout the entire system now so everything is growing super well,it will be interesting to see what the gavitas do for me in the new rooms whenever i get around to that...

Damn unc, the babies look great!:tiphat: And that GG is a beast.
From my very limited experience with her, she is extremely healthy and vigorous. Great structure. Awesome lateral branching. Cant wait to see her flowers up close.

Speaking of putting a GG in flower, i had/found a little extra space for a baby gorilla.
She's in a 5 gal smart pot, and i topped her the day before I flipped her. (I usually try and allow at least 7 days after topping to flip, but i had already flipped the other plants, and didnt want the GG to be too far behind. The other strains are 9 weekers also, so i didnt want the GG holding up the next cycle.)

Any guess on what i could get off of her?? Id be cool with 1 zip, as small as she is.

And i usually get around 2-4 zips per plant in 5 gal smart pots, depending on the strain. But with much more veg time than this.
If that helps with the guess.:dunno:

and look dan, theres my humi, pumpin away.
