lol, cmon, the day of the week is utterly meaningless to the unemployed!:bigeye:

im apparently part solar powered...in the summer its best to be up early to beat the heat, and now you have to be up early or else you end up missing out on the daylight...since i dont have tv theres no compelling reason to stay up late....

Well hell, these ants have me at a dilemma. Was gonna harvest the glue on Wednesday but am afraid if I don't do something about the damn ants I may loose my veg. So now do I make the extra 80 mile trek this week to kill the ants or do I gun the fuckers down today and chop the gg at day 58 :chin:

the glue is certainly harvestable by day 58,but on the other hand unless the ants are actually eating your plants i dont think you need to worry too much...

wait....are you implying theres something from detroit not abandoned or on fire?

love that show! i must have watched it a dozen times by now...too bad it got cancelled, its rare to have a cast dynamic thats so strong, and especially anything sci-fi which mostly sucks as a genre in film and tv...

all done in the garden for the day, just need to refill the water barrel so i can water again in the morning, got a week of 70's coming up and the better all this stuff gets rooted in before whatever we have winter wise the better....temps are perfect right now to soak the plants and let the water sink into the soil and then let them chase after it with new roots for the rest of the week...not like mid summer when it was a struggle to even keep stuff alive...

Piss ants :chin: For some fucked reason ants are invading my veg space. Checked them this morning and there was a bazilion ants crawling all over my babies. Cant bomb due to being 1 week from harvest. Anyone got a clue?

First off, let me say that you may have root aphids....The ants swarm over the aphids, and apparently they milk them like cows. So the ants will protect the aphids from predators and sort of herd them.....

that being said...

If you know where the ant hill is, you can use boiling water on it....

If the ants are making trails to and from your garden, you can put diatomaceous earth on those trails....

you can irritate them into going somewhere else with sprinkled cinnamon.....

OR you could make a natural organic ant killer

Yup it's a shed and I've made it once today already. Think I'll wait the few days.

Hmmmmmmm :chin: haven't seen any critters other then the ants and they are only on a few at this point. But that could be a possibility

Well I think today is the day I give the Glue's their final clean bill of health.

Just scoped them once again and all I found was one dead two spotted mite. I think at this point all the original leaves have been slowly removed. The final ones today.

And when I say clean bill of health I mean critter wise, obviously they are in need of some TLC but as soon as I pot them in some 1 gallons they should take right off and green those stems up a bit.

Roots say "I'm ready"

cant wait to see what the glue can do for you...

glue needs root space, and it often shows its displeasure at being cramped by exhibiting cal/mag def signs, its not really deficient just being fussy.when you up pot you dont need to bump your cal/mag levels, just give it a week and it will mostly have greened back up,but expect to have to up pot within 10 days to keep it healthy.it should do pretty well in coco since it doesnt seem to mind wet feet as much as other plants.
aside from that you know to spread those branches out early and tie them down, try not to top more than twice per branch,be prepared to prune vigorously during the first 2 weeks in flower, and daily weaving.and once bud set starts they can eat pretty strongly...
