Spav, let me step in as interpretor as best I can, as someone who is somewhat in the mix here too and has asked my own questions.
(with respect to the fella who's been misunderstood too)
So, what's being said is this, nothing more nothing less.. This clone is the brightsides as far as he's concerned, that opinion based on having smoked a bit and being so sure he went some distance to get the cut, although when he cultivated it he doesn't understand why it doesn't seem to have so much smell as he recalls. That's what I've taken from it.

I hope that's helpful. I haven't really got a horse in this race in terms of interest and when it comes down to it, as I've only grown the 'uk cheese' clone which doesn't really look much like the other 'exodus' cuts I've seen pics of flowered plants in this thread (the one I had grew definitively spear shaped buds), and the very first release of big buddhas cheese seeds, those are the only cheeses I can compare this to. So far, just based on the branching habit and leaf colour I don't think this is the clone I grew before which was a much lighter shade of green in pretty much the same feed conditions. In fact even though I haven't grown cheese for over ten years I wouldn't mind betting I'm now getting to the bottom of the very same bottles of feed I used then as I feed so lightly lol.

Mate thats so helpful thank you. I haven't seen any pictures of this one in flower. Theres a picture of one in veg i think but no buds. I agree Dogon and Windows look wrong but have you seen this one flowered?

I absolutely agree about the colour of the buds being light green I've said this all along and I also said tangerine, light orange pistils which looking at the picture cheesegez just posted... :tippet: ties up too.

I just started 12/12 on one so I'll post pictures.

never seen a cut with such a purpley colour to the branches, so who knows... brightsides throws maple leafs even at the top cola something ive never seen before in any strain.

My cut goes purple like that if the mother gets too old, or gets rootbound and needs potting up etc, those purple stems will be really woody. I prefer taking my clones of the fresh shoots, dont like it when they have gone all woody like in the pic, I also try to keep the mother in good health by remaking her every month and a half or so

when you say maple leaves what do you mean?
I suppose you can only mean either thick/wide leaflets?
I've noticed birdmans likes throwing 3 bladed leaves.
My stems on the same cut are green but.I'd wager you have a lot more blue spectrum which is causing the reddening and woodiness.

They all do it but none as much as Dogons. Windows and Birdman are about on par for it really.
Biggest most obvious difference to me is that Birdmans is more vertical.
Still zig zag but less acute.

Birdman cut definitely smells most out the lot (in veg anyway).

Yer my bad just a personal reference , I'm referring to the 3 bladed leaves as the maple leaf is also 3 bladed .
