Hiya mack you flowered that soma clone yet? Be aware that if you allow a dominant shoot to develop you'll cut your yield by half at least. I'd say from having grown her 3 ways now that she needs a fairly harsh defoliation about once a fortnight and tying down so that all shoots are approximately level unless you want a comedically small yield of fluffy mids and one thumbsized cola when dried. She will happily choke herself with huge fans if you don't remove them, but I am pretty sure you'll find it a desirable end product if you like herb which is floral/perfumed,spicy and hazey, and a little bit skunky dank.

the 'birdside' as I've labelled it is looking well in her new pot, new growth is shiny and vibrant, I'll take some lowers when I flip it and keep you all in the loop.

Hi NBE good to have seen you. This is Buffoonman got my original Cheese of EnglishRick several years ago then passed it onto Birdman. Unfortunately everybody seemed to lose there cuttings at the same time. Tried dozens since but never found the original again. It will be interesting to see whether this new Cheese is the original. At the moment I have no cheeses at all. Would really like the livers/Blues to get that lovely taste back. Been mainly concentrating on different Og Kushes love the strength and stone of the OG Kush but miss that Cheesy Blues taste.
Kept the original Casey Jones going because of its yield and vigour. Another couple of giant yielders that maintain the strength are Critical Kush And Cotton Candy. (Power Plant x Lavender.) But missing that divine Cheese taste.

Spav, let me step in as interpretor as best I can, as someone who is somewhat in the mix here too and has asked my own questions.
(with respect to the fella who's been misunderstood too)
So, what's being said is this, nothing more nothing less.. This clone is the brightsides as far as he's concerned, that opinion based on having smoked a bit and being so sure he went some distance to get the cut, although when he cultivated it he doesn't understand why it doesn't seem to have so much smell as he recalls. That's what I've taken from it.

I hope that's helpful. I haven't really got a horse in this race in terms of interest and when it comes down to it, as I've only grown the 'uk cheese' clone which doesn't really look much like the other 'exodus' cuts I've seen in pics of flowered plants in this thread (the one I had grew definitively spear shaped buds), and the very first release of big buddhas cheese seeds, those are the only cheeses I can compare this to. So far, just based on the branching habit and leaf colour I don't think this is the clone I grew before which was a much lighter shade of green in pretty much the same feed conditions. In fact even though I haven't grown cheese for over ten years I wouldn't mind betting I'm now getting to the bottom of the very same bottles of feed I used then as I feed so lightly lol.

All is know is that this is the missing cut labelled brightside from source and there's no quibble to where she stands on the Best of English Cheeses leaderboard... it's truly an outstanding clone #1
