James Bond rooms are nice and Id have one too in another life but with advanced grow tech, the more you spend, the returns diminish. wether or not its worth the escalating cost of wringing out every drop of productivity depends on the grower.
For me it would only be for the mad scientist in me that likes cool stuff.

I couldn't justify watering 60 plants a day it seems logical to have automated system unless your only running a few plants , to be fair I've only seen my returns flourish as temp / humidity and watering cycles are more accurate that I could ever achieve manually...

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Cheesegez again.

Cheesegez your room is one of the cleanest i have seen come from the UK in a very long time. Great post with lots of detail, wish i had more rep to give you.

Just a few small questions:

How big is that room?
What kind of footprint are you allowing the Gavitas to cover?
How long do the CO2 tanks last / how often do you have to refill them.

Next place that I get I want to try and run a small sealed room, definitely seems like the way to go.

:tiphat:

Thanks fella each side is 4.5 m x 1.4 and the ceilings are around 7 1/2 foot high , them C02 bottles last 2 months easy with dosing set at 1250ppm bare in Mind 32kg is gas Weight all in they weigh around 140kg and cost 60 quid a bottle.

Hope that answers your question ...

Nice, so what's happening with that fan and filter combo?
It just recurulates in the room? Does it stay on top of odours?

fab..

so 20 quid.. double return in 6 months from lights on..sound decent to me bro.. I might just av a go at that setup..must have took you ages to setup.. did you go bunker style

I just saw in auction a plot of land in the lake district.. it has a river running through it. wonder how a hydro generator might be welcomed if I dig a fukin bunker and cover the area in solar pennies..

3 grand .. 3.5 acres

Oh absolutely about irrigation - I don't consider that advanced... I've been all aero since nutriculture brought out amazon and extreme systems about 15 years ago. Hand watering 60 would be a joke.
When I said advanced I meant your sealed room, CO2, A/C and controllers. I've always just run LOADS of exhaust. It works fine in winter, ok in autumn and domes spring but obviously, I'm losing maybe 30% productivity so no doubt one year will recoup the investment on a grow like yours. A no brainier for a smart guy.
I would have ALL that stuff you do if I were in your position, do doubt bro :tiphat:

I've been an nft canna aqua + budlink etc etc grower since 2001 .. never looked back.

ive never used an a.c. unit or co2 .. i always need to keep shit cheap for people so i just never botherd because of the expenses like the initial cost and electric consumption ...seems like it's time to bother.. I just put a 12in phat filter on both sides of the fan in the past and cracked the windows a lil to let the house breath..... couldn't run big ones in summer tho it didn't bother me...

0 heat and 0 smell is worth the extra I'd say

time to take this shit out of one of the bedrooms and in into a batcave

It took around a month 2 of us my mate had to get on some Columbian goodness to keep up lol ,I was an electrical engineer when I worked in the slave trade but never did much on hydro electric generators , im a big believer in free energy especially when it comes to utilizing the power of hydrogen ...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOGAkRkCWfA

no its a secure unit without giving too much away , It would be near impossible to break into theres three doors before you even get into the office and all the stud walls have 3x2" 1cm apart then 1" mdf then 3mm steel sheets and plaster boards... all but 1 doors have 7 electronic fail safe locks and keypads and dead locks anpr cameras on site entrance and constantly monitored cctv even the feds would be smashing the doors in the wrong way .... I am a big fan on security:window:

yes mate the fan and filter are just re circulating air we both know how much cheese stinks but there's no smell whatsoever out side that room!!

Cheesegeez your room sounds epic. Can't see the pics though did you delete it?

Also I'd like to pick your brain. How would you go about using an AC unit in a residential property like a terraced house. Where would you put the outside unit? Would look a bit suspicious to neighbors. It would be nice to not have to worry about heat in summertime

I'm thinking of locking the door 1 week into veg and monitoring it remotely for the full term . only returning at crop time.. i was even day dreaming about devising a way to cut the main stalk and hoist them upside down and remotely running a drying process.. basicaly I just wanted to be responsible for transferring dry plants to the pruning machines and making oil, bubble an sift .. that and establishing them initially.. easy job for once....ahchhh heaven

Automating a room is simple no ?s there... My setup is cool for 14days, once dosetrons should never have to be there but still check things daily NOW if you figure out a way to automate harvest n trim next level shit... I can picture almost picture it... Just need some robots / automated arms like in the auto manufacturing field,,, having full control from my iphone..... priceless... Get on that Rick

I haven't even tried to up my game in 15 years because canna aqua is literally the best at outperforming every other scedual when it comes to taste of the end product.. I found it also helps keep the uniqueness of the clones flavour more so than any other regime...

fair play bro.. but I'm on your friggin coat tales ... not avin this ! ... game on g :)... I'm building the ruler on my bill so might take me a little longer than you.. I'm building the fukin batcave bro.. I'm batman!
