Given the turmoil in Washington I don't really see anything changing at that level. Trump & the Repubs let cannabis proceed on the current track as a consolation prize while they gut govt services & cut taxes for the investor class.

what i find more worrying is how divided the US has become. you have government institutions working to undermine other government institutions, you have the presidents private communications being leaked to the determent of the actual war on terror they are that keen to get at Trump. as was said, we certainly are living in interesting times.

I have no solutions either, Payaso, but much worry and anxiety as do many of us. Trump is a symptom that seems to represent a substantial minority of our population. They will not go away with the fall of Trump, et al which I see as inevitable sooner or later. This substantial minority is similar to the substantial minority of southerners who decided war was the only solution to their slavery problem. This time, though, the factions are not nearly as coherent as the conflict more than 150 years ago which broke much more cleanly between north and south. Hard road ahead. Cannabis is merely a symptom.
