This first trial will be very focused in scope. Adding and implicating more scoundrels would create more opportunities for excuses to delay. All of those accessory people must be sweating it because they know if he goes then they will go too. Penis and Mark Meadows will have the biggest shovels in burying Chump and draining the swamp.

The J6 suit has been described to me as "The NHRA Top Fuel Dragster of lawsuits meant to go really, really fast in a very straight line" meaning it's going to be a stripped down, get it done as quickly as possible trial.

And with the way Federal Sentencing Guidelines work, he'll be a repeat offender at the Documents case. And that means he's going to prison for a very long time.

The closer we get to trial, the more erratic he's going to be come (even more so than now) and eventually he'll beg for a plea deal. And he may get one.

Chump was released on personal recognizance with very specific instructions.
There is a good chance he will blow it. Doubtful they will put him in jail straight away, but they might lock him in his castle and take away his digital toys. Maybe they will give him a tv with only one channel MSNBC.

They say if he's found guilty on the J6 charges, just those 4 alone could net him 55 years. of course we all know he'll never get 55 years. I used to think he'll never see the inside of a prison, now i'm not so sure. It's kind of like the documents case, had he not played games and just gave all the classified stuff back he likely never would have been charged for anything in that matter. Since he did the opposite though, that's why he's facing those charges now. So like that if he didn't play all the games he's been playing with motions and such and didn't male threats like his ad where he says something to the effect of "if you do something bad to us we're going to do things to you that have never been done before", Then he probably just would have gotten home detainment. Now though because of crap like that ad I think he just might end up with jail time. Given that he's currently seven seven, soon to be seven eight, pretty much any jail sentence he gets will be a life sentence. Given how far he's taking things though and threatening to essentially turn the US into a dictatorship I now think they should throw the book at him. Not so much to punish him though but to send a clear message to anyone else that might try to follow in his footsteps, that this sort of behavior will not be tolerated.

Oh the irony...

I would like to say I'm surprised, nay even shocked. Unfortunately the world is getting to be such a bad place anymore, things like this aren't as surprising or shocking as they should be.

donny dumbass is gonna get himself tossed in jail before any of the trials start

Prosecutors from Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office are seeking a protective order after Donald Trump posted an apparent threat on Truth Social on Friday. Citing the former president’s all-caps declaration, “IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I’M COMING AFTER YOU!” prosecutors said his posts could have a “harmful chilling effect” on witnesses in the case against him if he were to start publicly posting information obtained in discovery. The DOJ is therefore asking a judge for a protective order blocking the “improper dissemination or use of discovery materials.” Prosecutors noted in their filing that the order is especially important since “the defendant has previously issued public statements on social media regarding witnesses, judges, attorneys and others associated with legal matters pending against him.”

the boy's dumb as a box of river rocks. he still doesn't understand that federal judges and prosecutors aren't afraid of him... he's playing to his moronic peanut gallery, and it's gonna take a big bite out of his ass/wallet...

Maybe, then again maybe not. So far the Republican party as a whole has ponied up somewhere around $40 Million. Now this money comes in from various sources but mostly from the Republican party in various states. Normally this money would be held and spent where needed to get candidates thru elections they might have a challenge with. The result of that money being redirected to Trump's defense along with bad money management at the state level, has several Republican parties in various stats, pretty much bankrupt. For example the total amount of cash on hand for the Michigan state republicans is $53 and some change which in itself is rather shocking this close to a major election but not only are their assests down to less then $54 they also have debts in excess of $350k. Another state, Colorado I think is so bad off they're floating the idea of not even having a primary this coming election. Now those are two of the more extreme but there are a bunch of other states where the Republicans are bordering on bankruptcy, most of which are the swing states involved in the fake electors scheme, so there likely won't be much money to help those people when they get charged for their involvement so i'm sure jack Smith is feeling good asbout his chances of flipping them to cooperating witnesses. In the past Trump has done so well raising money that the money he raised would be going to help these states but he's apparently struggling financially too. There was a report this past week where the super pAC his donations go to shelled out around $170k for Melanie to get her hair cut. other sizeable amounts have gone out to people like Rudy Colludie and several others but i forget who they were now. The point though is the Republican party will fairly soon become unable to foot the bill for Trump's massive legal expenses that are just growing larger by the day and if Trump wants to keep his defense going he'll have little to no choice but to spend his own money.

I imagine most if not all of Trump's core base would be more then happy to help Trump out, unfortunately for Trump, he and his crew (like Steve Bannon for example) have been steadily draining his supporters for the past couple of years and then there was that scam that didn't even come from Trump where someone sucked a ton of money out of MAGA moron's pockets selling those fake Trump bucks.

Looks like Judge Chutkan is going to have to address Douchebag Donnie shooting his mouth off again after he was forewarned. If she cuts him any slack then he will take all of that and then some.

Even if former President Donald Trump committed a “technical violation of the constitution” by seeking to overturn the 2020 election, that doesn’t make him a criminal, his attorney argued Sunday on NBC’s Meet the Press. The comments came following a question by host Chuck Todd about Mike Pence’s repeated assertions that Trump asked him to violate the constitution by moving to stop the counting of valid electoral college votes on Jan. 6, 2021, prompting attorney John Lauro to assert that it is “just plain wrong” to suggest that makes him a criminal. When asked in a follow-up email whether he believes that Trump did violate the constitution with his request, Lauro told NBC that he “never said that President Trump committed a technical violation.” Rep Jamie Raskin (D-MD), a key member of the Jan. 6 committee and an outspoken critic of Trump, later said on the network that the defense put forward by Lauro was “deranged.”

birds of a feather...maybe The Chump (realizing that he is gonna be found guilty) is shooting for an appeal based on "incompetent/ineffective representation". so far, he has a good shot at that. some of his lawyers may end up in jail with him as part of a "continuing criminal enterprise".

Actually if you want to get technical like this lawyer seems to want to do then he is correct, technically it doesn't make him a criminal..it makes him a traitor who failed to honor his oath of office. Which is actually far worse then just a criminal. I mean the punishment for being a traitor used to be death, i don't think just being a criminal ever carried the death penalty in this country unless of course you also committed murder while being a criminal.
