Trump thread part 2 (Or anything else we want to talk about that's ridiculous in politics today)

I'm posting this link because I like the thumbnail for the video, the video itself is over an hour long and while it does contain a lot of good points, it's all information most of us here are already fully aware of and so watching the video may cause you to fel like you gave up an hour of your life that you can't get back.
What I really wanted to get at though is the fact that there are people on the right threatening Civil War if Trump is convicted and/or locked up for the crimes he is guilty of. Which I find very dsturbing. Not because I have any fear of a Civil War of MAGA vs the USA (The US Military the most powerful military force in the world, would make it the shortest civil war in history) but because Trump's rabid followers would almost certainly jump to General Bonespurs' orders, even though there is no chance that Bonespurs or any of the other MAGA Republican leaders would ever fight along side them. So I find it disturbing there are so many Republican representatives are so willing to so casually play with the lives of the people they represent to use them as proverbial sacrificial lambs. It makes you wonder what they've promised people for such a sacrifice? We know the promise of scores of virgins is fake news, at best all they could possibly offer is that MTG and Lauren Boebert might give their crotches a quick feel. What is particularly disgusting about this behavior by Republican representatives is that it is all just born of fear that if they don't do what Trump wants, his followers might turn against them and vote them out of office.
So based on that, when Democrats inevitably take control of the White House, House of Representatives and the Senate, I hope one of their first orders of business is to enshrine into law that any politician willing to support or promote such behavior shall be immediately removed form office and never be allowed to hold any position within the Federal Government.

Chump hasn't promised any thing to politicians, he rules by fear. He has dirt on people and uses it to control them. If it ever were to come to a 'civil war', there is a wide range of outcomes that don't necessarily resemble 1865. Military involvement can be avoided with a political split. The foreseeable outcome would be visible before the action ever could take place because blue states have all the money and attract educated people.

Yeah I'm confident that if it did become a "Civil War" it would just be in the minds of his followers, just another thing they wrongly imagined. In reality at it's best it would be something like Jan 6th all over again except this time it would get shut down in brutal fashion by the authorities/US Military. I mean just look at who his supporters are, the vast majority are broken people well past their glory days.
