Trump thread part 2 (Or anything else we want to talk about that's ridiculous in politics today)

Well as bad as things look there's still hope to be had. For one thing the Impeachment Inquiry is being botched so badly by Republicans that the most likely outcome is that it will grow support for Biden just like the Impeachments against Trump ended up growing his support. Fortunately for Biden his position was already strong enough to defeat Trump that he doesn't really need any help, despite Trump's insistance that he's beating Biden by, "Like a lot".
Especially more and more coming out every day to reveal what a prolific liar Trump is. Of course nothing will likely change the minds of the support Trump already has but he needs new supporters to be able to win. With video like the one below coming out, getting new supporters isn't likely. Now I know that some will be dismissive because this was put out by MSNBC but I encourage people to watch it. It reveals things that weren't widely reported at the time that casts things in a completely different light and really shows you the level of propaganda Trump used on the people.

he's not picking up any new support, and anyone with a room temperature IQ or above has seen him for what he is by now. he already had the anti-freedom religious zealots, dog whistle racists, and wanna-be brown shirt fascists in his corner. who else might conceivably turn out for him? 
Nobody that I can think of other then members of those groups that were too young to vote before. Also from what I've been seeing reported in the news the past few weeks he's lost a lot of the religious zealots that he had. Simple, because the one thing he's good at, his super power if you will, is manipulating the media. Because of that he got literally millions of dollars worth of free promotion in his 2016 run. Since people watch the media to know what's going on in the world, that free promotion got out to everyone. Hey managed to keep in the media all thru his presidency even up until today. I think he's getting at the rematch between Mango Messiah and Sleepy Joe. And I do agree with him to an extent. Then I remember American history from the last 100 years and question if we really do deserve better.

Democrats always became staunch progressives during campaign season then go back to governing like the republicans they are after they win. I guess we're just doomed to an endless cycle of this shit.
