At the very least he should be forced to surrender all assets to fund healing all the delicate psyches hes damaged. I'll never forgive this clown for what hes done to my buddy mustard. #InItTogether 👊

From what I've seen the legal minds in the prosecution are far, far ahead of Chumps lawyers. They hold their cards very close and the progression started at the bottom and went to the top. Once they hit the top, they had their choice of the prime flips. On the Chump side, the lawyers can't control him and let him run his mouthing off game. This shows crappy lawyers who probably insisted on getting paid up front, knowing his history of not paying. If they were any good they would have him on a very short leash and wouldn't need a judge to gag him. I heard he has blown $100M in legal so far. Getting all that money up front, a bunch of no name lawyers are laughing all the way to the bank. Just what he deserves.
I was doubtful Trump would ever have a view with bars, but the narrative is getting mighty dicey for him
if the lawyer situation is that bad, he's paying money for crap
and DT didn't buy crappy things, he always bought the best(for himself)
his minions seem to be digging it in a strange way
they don't care if he goes to prison, the idea that he can be elected and serve as president in the joint is becoming their vision

I wouldn't give up on Trump going to jail. First off lets keep in mind that most of his networth was tied up in his properties, the same ones he fraudulently increased in value when he wanted favorable loand and then fraudulently decreased in value when he didn't want to pay taxes. That raising and lowering is the basis of the fraud case in NY He also used that fraud to make him eem like he was wealthier then he was just so he could qualify to be on the Forbes list which he no longer is which says they've decided he's not worth anything near what he claims. He's looking at losing at least a quarter of a billion if he loses the fraud case and he's lost the ability to do business in NY and as was stated his prized assests in NY are in recievership. Then there is all the money he's lost messing around with porn stars and the like and the millions he lost on the sexual assault case. The only reason the lawyers are getting paid is because their money is coming directly from the fund fed by his supporters. i don't think any of them are getting paid up front, as far as i know there was only one lawyer who insisted on that and Trump side lined him or let him go a few months ago. His lawyers are crap because since their money is being paid by pAC that's paying them, they're not doing what's best for Trump but rather are doing what Trump tells them such as filing frivilous motions that instantly get shot down and some are so bad the judges have been fining the lawyers who should know better. Which I'm sure they do, they just don't have the spines to stand up to Trump.

Yes the elite and wealthy get better treatment, mainly because they can afford to pay for lawyers most people can't, actual good lawyers, not the clowns Trump's been working with. They also have somewhat of a fraternity and use their influence to help each other out but only when they know how to behave. Trump is an embarassment to that fraternity and since his chances of getting re-elected are growing weaker by the day they can't even count on Trump giving them tax cuts or more judges on the supreme court and so they're not looking the other way like they did back in 2016-2020. Also being a wealthy elite doesn't give you guarenteed protection, if it did Bernie "Madeoff with everyone's money" would never have gotten locked up.

The only thing pssible to save Trump at this point is the fear of national embarrassment and the fear of setting a precedent but Trump is alreaddy embrassing the country daily even when he's not president and that precedent thing doesn't really matter that much because out of 46 Presidents Trump is the first and only one to screw up as badly as he did. i mean he even made people look back fondly on Bush and compared to Trump Nixion is a choirboy. If they lock him up and show that there really is teeth to that belief that Nobody is above the law then we're not likely to have presidents that are really going to worry about the precedent of locking Trump up.

Meanwhile in the Senate, Mitch McConnell tells Josh Hawley to "leave the money alone". I never expected to support a Hawley bill.

Mitch also says "leave the money AND the Supremes alone".

If you actually look at the bill, you wouldn't support it. It is 100% performance politicking on Hawley's part. Mitch is just playing his role.

I suspect the warning to Dems about subpoenas to those two billionaires isn't so much about the appropriateness (because it's totally appropriate for Congress to perform oversight thru a comttiee congress created to enforce laws congress passed) but rather it's about how much more inappropriate and unreported donations those two donors have made beyond just supreme court justices.

The other day I made a post about how the elites are starting to either distance themselves from Trump or are outright rejecting him and how this might lead to him actually doing jail time. Well since I made that post a story has surfaced that backs up what I was saying and so I wanted to share it here just to show that I'm not making this stuff up.

The elite this story references is a billionaire by the name of Leon Cooperman who is what is known as a Republican Mega Donor, who donates almost exclusively to Republican candidates and has been doing so as far back as at least the Bush years if not longer. He is no friend of the Democrats and has been known as a "vociferous crusader against Democrats". In the interview the story came from he had some rather telling things to say about Trump, such as, "Trump is a divisive human being who belongs in jail" he was also quoted as saying, "It would be terrible for the country if Donald Trump were reelected". He also went on record acknowledging that he "very reluctantly" voted for Joe Biden in 2020. He added that if the major party nominees were Joe Biden and Donald Trump in 2024, he probably wouldn't vote at all. The story also talks about a couple of other Billionaire Republican Mega Donors who are also no longer backing Trump despite having backed him in 2020.

Jimmy Dore's friend of 30 years outs him as an anti vax shill getting paid for anti vax talking points by an anti vax (now dead) billionaire (Peter Allard). If you don't think this happens throughout the industry, especially all those independent channels, think again.

Democrats voted not to expel Santos because it would set dangerous precedent, lawmaker says

they won't kick this fraud out. nothing substantial is going to happen with trump.
Despite your feelings on the subject, even George Santos is allowed due process.

I just wish Chuck Schumer had shown Al Franken the same consideration.

Santos does more damage by showing republicans as fraudsters. Just like Chump.

Why would Dems want to get rid of him. Voter backlash will be significant.
Everyone already knows the republicans are fraudulent except for too far goners at this point.

Can't that same logic be applied to Trump? If they don't allow him to run for president and/or arrest him it will cause voter backlash.
