And I agreed. However I don't think taking away air conditioning is the way to do it. Why can I not disagree, and why do you need to insult me over and over? when it comes to weed though, they do have some say, so lets hope that bastard sessions gets down and has a real session to chill out a bit and experience the benefits of weed for himself, lol. weed makes you able to empathize with people. these politicians could use a dose of empathy for others, thats for sure.

Somewhere in all of this I think it's obvious that pouring greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere will have an effect. Nature took them out of the atmosphere over deep time & sequestered them in the earth to create the climate we have today. We're reversing that process over a very, very short period of geological time.

So what happens if we use more alternative energy & consume less, like with higher energy efficiency standards? We stretch it out & conserve fossil petroleum & coal resources.

The naysayers are fueled by interests who just want to sell more product.

I'll agree with the last paragraph but not the first. All we need to do is look at Trump's budget proposals to see the falsity of it. Repubs have no intention of protecting the weakest & most vulnerable among us, or of supporting things that enrich us all rather than just the financial elite. That's beyond obvious despite the usual "They're just as Bad!" routine.

Shee-it, Sherlock- Repubs will cut funding for Big Bird, Meals on Wheels & a plethora of other useful programs to cut billionaires' taxes & bury more death in the desert in the form of military spending.
