Thank goodness pot is such an easy plant to grow.....

Can you imagine how much it would cost to toke if it was like raising hot-house orchids?

It's an everyday chore to sweep the Plumeria flowers from the driveway.
I don't complain because it sounds just like gloating. :)

I installed this free game named Fortnite the one all the kids are addicted too.
Such a boring game. Yawn. Just run around in a big group and shoot up each other.
And you can built and break down stuff...

I think kids these days don't even know what an addiction is.

Spent serious years trying to train myself to eat a healthy diet. Then I schedule myself for a colonoscopy, and the Doc's office tells me that I have to abstain from my supplements, veggies and fruits, as well as other foods and drugs, for five days preceding the procedure. WTF??!!!

I'm left with bread with no nuts or coarse grains in it, and meat. Maybe some cheese, and smooth stuff with no peels. Milkshakes?

If I'd have known that one day a Doc would tell me to maintain such a diet, I'd have stuck to the way things USED to be, been dead by now, and I would've gotten to skip this whole ordeal!!

Fer chrissakes!!!!

So for their clear liquid diet for the final day, I guess I'm stuck with lemon-flavored beverages, lemon Jello, lemon-flavored popsicles, water, or tequila. No competition there; my choice is made!! But I'll add some lime and lemon to make sure it has some sort of nutrients or vitamins in it.

And now they tell me I'll be AWAKE through the process!!

I tried to tell them that any serious medical procedure involving me being conscious is likely a huge mistake. I have an autonomic reaction to people trying to do uncomfortable things to me.

Guess I'll find out shortly if my defense will hold up in court.

Not to worry. Through the magic of modern medicine you will be aware, but not really awake.
They used to use Valium, but are probably using Versed now. Valium will keep you in a "twilight zone" You really won't give a shit. The Versed is an amnesiac. So you won't remember any unpleasantness.
The worst part is the "milkshake" they have you drink prior to the spelunking. :(
Good luck, eater of Moose.

Hope it is all over and done now and you can enjoy a decent meal.

No, not yet, Gry. They have me on instructions for a 5-day prep. I cheated a bit, and it'll be a 4-day prep instead; today, tomorrow, Thursday, and D-Day.. Friday afternoon.

The spine surgery helped lessen the barriers to having persons I don't know at all helping with the most private of tasks.

I figure that in the end, it's all some sort of apprenticeship or training thing, working toward that ultimate stage of senior citizen humility when I'm stuck in a wheel chair, with dribble seeping down my chin, and some 19-year-old nurse's aid shoveling unsweetened oatmeal into my mouth, and telling me about her recent break-up with her boy-friend, all the while assuming I'm too incoherent to understand what she's saying.

--------------------

Thanks Weezard. In some cases, not remembering may be a good thing, though I've typically found such circumstances to be mildly alarming. I sometimes ask when I awaken from a procedure if I said anything that might incline me to take up a new zip code with a new name.

So far so good.

Never liked benzos though. But maybe it's going to be a different experience for me, since the early mid-70s.

"I can change. I promise!!"

Hope it is all over and done now and you can enjoy a decent meal.

I've been on this icmag forum for almost 5 years now... Damn, time flies...

I usta think that I talked a lot, because over the years some of my dearest, life-long friends have affirmed that as a fact...

But jeez, compared to some of the people on some of these threads here, I'm almost a mute...

The way I see it: his presidency is already almost over (thank the Tsar). Rather than complaining, we should be preparing a proper candidate for 2020.

I'm hoping (since we are allowed to be random in this thread) that Armenia will rejoin Russia so then I can try to go home. #ThirdGenerationArmenianDiaspora
