TOTALLY RANDOM POST II

I remember the old days when you used to bring a glove to the ball game hoping to catch one, now it seems you only need to have a beer.......

This is very sad. "... the old days" eh? when beers were for drinking? what next? pretty soon we will have joints coming out of our ears or something! I 'm crying in anticipation!

If I were the teams owner, I would totally have sent a few beers down or hooked her up with some tickets. Good publicity is good publicity.

Why do dandelions seem to grow better than anything else in the yard or garden??

Yep, many years ago in creative desperation we made dandelion wine.

I knew a guy who used to go to the Community 4thof July picnic, back when you got in for much less if you brought a dish, and he'd often bring a big bowl of dandelion greens.

The healthcare system? I'll be writing an article in the near future. One prospective title thus far is 'Conveyor Belt Medicine.' Alternate title might be, 'Assembly-Line Medicine.'

It'll make sense at some point, or I can explain it more later, assuming I survive surgery, which I should, but who knows? (Dice rattling in my hand....)

waiting for another turn of the hands on the clock, my best friend is at the hospital, his gf went in for a simple surgery and is now laying on her death bed, he's pretty worked up about it, I'll be checking on him @ 3am.

Vicky was in a group home, how he met her idk, she had 3 other roommates, all of then bipolar, plus Vicky had been battling breast cancer and winning. She was a sweetheart and I know she loved Hank a bit more than he loved her, but it wasn't an imbalance perhaps fatal to many other relationships.

I only met her once but for all her issues I was pleased/impressed with her character, behavior, presence etc. Hank is going to miss her, his last VERY serious gf of 20 yrs passed away from her cancer in 2012 after a nine yr battle of her own.

Hank's gonna be a friggin' wreck.......

EDIT:
Just called Hank, he was getting out of his car @ home, Vicky passed with him being the only one there for her in the end, she was lucky that they'd found one another, Hank came into her life when she needed an outside distraction from the group home the most. Vicky passed knowing and feeling love.
