Great dogs, though I've always preferred larger breeds like German Shepherds and Labs. My last dog was a lab/shepherd/hound mix. He was an absolute hoot! Plus, there's a shitload of Eastern Coyotes around here and people have unfortunately lost their small dogs to them.

yep had a German Shepard, top dog. Collie dog, about 6 others. last two small dogs lasted 16 years. Shitzu.
gonna be small dogs from now on for me, easy maintenance, less food costs, etc.......
