They are very quick. I had to cut one as I got some powdery mildew a month back and they got it too when they were seedlings sigh. It held out until this late in bud.
They look really good @Sub24ox7 . Nice fade of them and they seem to bulk up towards the end. Mine is signaling she's ready but I'm going to force her out till week eight if I can. What flowering periods are you getting?
Pretty sure it’s been only 43 days. And two of them could be taken in a couple days. The other two look like a week and a half to 2.
Will try to take the two to 8 weeks.
They look great @Sub24ox7 and again nearly done - although i don't think , flowering at 11/13, that you'll be able to directly compare the flowering times with @Jahaze . These Ahmar seem very reactive to photoperoid and i think the hour's extra dark will speed things up somewhat.
I've noticed one the mother plants ive kept from the F1s will throw quite a few pistils at 16/8 - so i reckon that the Chefchauen hashplant in the original cross must have been very early flowering.
The other thing ive found intriguing about Sub24's plants is how much they branched out. My logic would make me think that 11/13 would result in more columner plants due to faster flowering onset, but seeing this grow has made me wonder if the opposite is true, that 11/13 made them branch out more ! - of course it could be down to a lot of other variables like the space given to the plants etc.. but interesting all the same.
End of the road for my Ahmar f2. 56 days of flowering so exactly 8 weeks from flipping. I hadn't watered in 3 days and she was bone dry. I checked the trichomes and majority milky with a few amber here and there with few clear heads. The smell has changed into a sweet earthy organic type smell. There are hints of coffee, dried fruit, and leather. I can see how the comparison to bubba kush is easy to make. I wish I had more plants to compare but I lost a couple to root aphids in the seedlings stage. I have more f2s well as the red bubba so I have an opportunity to explore this very interesting line. Some pics before the chop and with the big fan leaves removed so we can see what she looked like with her clothes off.
