I recycle almost everything.
My trash ends up fitting in a 2 pound foil coffee bag or a plastic bag from the supermarket.
All the food gets recycled, paper & cardboard gets burned.
Liquid containers I save to re-fill with water.
What I wonder about paper & cardboard - What if it was buried & subjected to very high pressure ? Would you get diamonds ? Does it need to be turned into charcoal first ?
I can only burn it because I live in the country.
Metal, e.g. cat food cans, I could actually sell, but it's not worth driving through the metal recycling place. Hard on the tires.
So I give away low grade steel if I go there to sell some brass & copper or something.

I went thru a period where our family was very careful to only eat non processes food and compost as much of out wasted as possible. A family of 6 was disposing of less than a full garbage bag of trash each week. We have slipped back a little bit. And feeling guilty. Need to get the diet back in good order and start worm farming again. Not to mention.. Herb grown with fresh worm castings taste so goood.

Why should anyone support liberal solutions to real problems. Or better yet increased taxes on the rich to give to the government "do gooders" and there empty promises. What is the definition of insanity?

Is it a coincidence that the highest homeless rates are in liberal democrat controlled cities? Why should the truck drivers, carpenters, administrative assistants spend 30 years paying off a $250k mortgage be required to foot the bill for low or no income housing in California at a cost of $550k per unit?
Anyone who has spent any time in Baltimore can see what 30 years of liberal democrat policies have done. Sections of the city look they belong in a 3rd world country yet the city receives millions if not billions from taxpayers as the city continues to decline.

Or maybe it's Trump's tax cuts for the rich to blame. Perhaps Seattle could have hired 2 transgender strippers for a conference on homelessness if only we gave these people more money.

Hell, here, it so deep seated they throw a hundred million
a year at the police to 'deal with' the homeless.
No building of low or middle class housing.
A surplus of new luxury rentals exists sitting between the growing collection of shuttered retail locations.
Don't see how giving the ultra rich further breaks on taxes will
benefit the homeless a bit.
I do however see that those such as habitat for humanity
produce results on shoestring budgets which result in
putting people in homes. I have no qualms in describing the
outfit as a successful solution.
Apathy and insanity are as well engineered
as anything else in our society.

They go where the surf rolls and the weather is warm. San Diego.
I lived in a treehouse overlooking the ocean in Solana Beach, campgrounds in Big Sur, Lake Tahoe. A commune in Moro Bay.
I had a home in Palm Springs. I was homeless on purpose. It allowed me to see things and experience them. I wasn’t a bum, I’d always find work.
Palm Springs has a huge homeless population in the winter. I’d see some of them in Tahoe come summer.
It used to be standard practice to bus the homeless out of town. Most common destination was Santa Monika.
There’s vast reasons for the homeless in California, the least being liberal policies. The facts are true, the reasoning is bullshit.
