Trajectory of Justice
When it comes to conditions within our society, the perception has long been,
that it's those who recently arrived, or people of color who stood to gain the most.
That is not, nor has ever been the case.
It was the women of our society who gained the most, and as things are
"rolled back" it will be they, who stand to loose the most in the way of opportunities.
Having been fortunate enough to have married a somewhat accomplished woman,
I acutely feel and deeply regret the tragic and lasting loss that is being inflicted
upon our society by those who would take us backwards rather than to a future
we should have could have had- had we not been sold out by our "best and brightest"
in the era of our grandparents.

Wait, I thought, haven’t I written this before? And it turns out that, in a way, I did — back in 2021, on the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. At the time, I focused on the rehabilitation of Sen. Eugene McCarthy, the Minnesota Democrat who had made a lonely run for president in 1968 on a platform opposing the American war in Vietnam. In those days, opposing that war was considered naïve at best, treasonous at worst. Today, almost everyone in this country who even remembers Vietnam considers it a historic mistake, if not a moral catastrophe.

The mention of Sen. Eugene McCarthy caught my eye. I was 16 in '68; too young to vote for him. I followed his campaign and watched the Democratic Machine rig the delegate counts to Hubert Humphrey. I voted for Richard Nixon in 1972 as a result.
That vote did not go so well.

Thank you for posting this buzzmobile. Was fortunate to have been able to have been introduced to
his wife Abigail in the late nineties. An accomplished long time author, long time DC fixture and an amazing individual with
a wealth of contacts.

Seeing the Democratic party give Bernie similar treatment in 2016 to what Eugene McCarthy received
in the early seventies was a reminder that each of our parties have been and remain compromised.

I would like to share with those who spend time here, that one of my favorite sources, has
long been a man Dick Cheney once described as "The Fry Cook" in an effort to belittle him.
Dave Emory is the gentleman's name, and Spitfirelist.com is his website. I have followed his
for efforts for better than twenty years.
When it comes to things such as veracity and integrity, the man is a treasure.
He has recently retired after having worked as a short order cook all his working
life, so that he might have the maximum amount of political freedom to speak truth
to power, which is what he has been doing for the past 45 years.
His website contains the results of his efforts over that period of time.
In addition to that, he has maintained a library of WWII era books available for free on his
site that I would urge anyone who is interested in material of this nature to read as a foundation,
and starting point.
Dave was blessed with an amazing memory, and though he is in his seventies' he is still
a very bright and gifted individual.
For those who seek, he can provide edification. Know and understand right up front,
that it may not be pleasing or bear resemblance to much of what we have poured over us
most of our lives.

C.I.A. Man (1965) Lyric

Who can kill a general in his bed?
Overthrow dictators if they're red?
Fucking-a man!
(Fucking-A! C-I-A!)
C.I.A. Man!

Who can find a counter-agent quick?
Especially the ones inside of it?
Fucking-a man!
(Fucking-A! C-I-A!)
C.I.A. Man!

Who can plan a riot in Vietnam?
Who can have the troops restore the calm?
Fucking-a man!
(Fucking-A! C-I-A!)
C.I.A. Man!

Who can buy a government so cheap?
Change the cabinet without a squeak?
Fucking-a man!
(Fucking-A! C-I-A!)
C.I.A. Man!

Who can get a budget that's so great?
Who will be the 51st state?
Fucking-a man!
(Fucking-A! C-I-A!)
(Fucking-A man! C.I.A. Man!)
C.I.A. Man!

Worth a quarter of an hour, and another quarter of a minute... Really...

Thank you most kindly. Can't help but point out that this is the very same issue MLK was
murdered over, by our government via COINTELPRO.
