My contention is not that he was a lousy then or better now, but rather that we have been lead by a compliant media down a path
which has had us involved with optional conflicts that have never ceased since the second world war.
We all know to what extent those conflicts were about generating profits for an oil industry that made a hobby out of buying politicians.

Yes, that slight dropping of your guard is what allows their lies to seem like truths. Remember when everyone was honoring John McCain cause he had enough common sense to see through Trumps charade, yet not enough common sense to not make deals with al-Qaeda and actual Nazis. Trump was too fucking dumb to ever have a chance of perpetuating the Imperialistic warlord agenda America requires of it's presidents, this is why the real elites don't like him and why a large majority of America who could never be included in that crowd love him. Letting that man occupy space in your mid lets the real bad guys win.
so, if The Chump is not one of the "real bad guys" after trying to steal an election (efforts of which are still ongoing) and destroy the foundations of democracy & end voting rights, suppose you tell us who the "real bad guys" are...i'm retired, take your time. enjoying watching him get a bit of what he so richly deserves is not "dropping my guard", nor does he "occupy space in my mind"...i'm quite aware that we have other problems, but he is the pressing one at the moment. you can't let cancer go untreated because you have other health issues.
