My own perspective is the opposite. Given the nature of what the vote represents, I was encouraged to find
nine courageous republicans who were willing to make such a vote.

Kinda' like the Cosa Nostra, in a way, though both sides seem to act this way (not across the board, but in large majority, and both seem to use their no-snitching boundaries in different circumstances)..
I wonder if McConnel or Pelosi ever put on a Marlon Brando impersonation in private, for appreciative audiences. That would make a cool keep-sake as a recording.
For some reason, when I write stuff like that, I often hear the voice of Jack handy (SNL) in my mind. I'm worried now...
