My hooch brews in the same plastic bottle the juice came in But yes, I do wrap them in Panda Film to keep the light out. Tell ya what, I was planning on going down after lights off to grab some good trich shots, and I'll grab one of the bottles while I'm down there.

gaiusmarius: heya bro! She is indeed past four weeks, on the down slope now at 35 days in. Unfortunately, only the two MM seedlings made it, and none of the WR. I've got some ThunderfuckinBlockhead beans, and some Cheese beans as well, but I'm waiting to pop them until after some of the veg room moves on through. I just don't want to fire up the second flowering pod, y'know?

Remember how my girls wanted Cal Mag last time? But calcium in the water was causing problems earlier? Guess what I've detected on my mother plant?

That's right, a Calcium def! hehehe, I just can't help but laugh. I haven't noticed any indication on other plants, but remember me mentioning the SWT13 girl in flowering seemed to have slowed down a touch?

I associated it with the CO2 running out, but that was also right after I switched to using the R/O water. So, looks like we'll be adding some light dose CalMag back into the mix.

Too funny though, I can't help but laugh

NT I was reading in my aquarium magazine today that R/O water and Distilled water is lacking in so many vitamins and Cal/Mag. The mad was adamant that tap water is the best to use after letting it sit for a bit. PH needs to be balanced of course but it has the essential minerals you need....all I could think whie reading that was...huh...makes sense.

Make sense to you?

I knew things were going too well. Went to change out the DWC girl with a solution that had cal mag, and sure enough, root rot is in there. Summabitch.

Well, got some H2O2 added in, and some root protectant. Not too terribly much rot, and the girl seems just fine, so heres hoping!

Time for an update!

We'll start off in the flower room this time, with the SWT13 Reveg. I think you'll be able to see what I did, that switching to the R/O water with out adding CalMag back into the mix really slowed her down. I remedied that today, with a good CalMag fortified feeding. Hopefully she'll recover - she's just not looking like I thought she would, given the fantastic growth in the first 20-30 days.

Is it just me, or doesn't she look a bit thin for day 41? Granted, she's got about another 20 days to go, at least, and may just be switching from vertical growth to packing on weight, but she still looks light. Oh well, I may not get full potential (again ). Hopefully, if nothing else, it'll serve as a lesson to any new growers lurking the thread - If it ain't broke, don't fix it, and Never get complacent.

Here's the DWC girl. She's looking great, and put out a buncha new growth after getting her calcium levels back up as well. Not only new growth up top, but she's put out some more roots, and seems to be fighting off the root rot.

And here's the veg room - no sex on the BW's yet, although they should be getting close. Once they're sexed, males will be culled, clones taken, and they'll be dropped into bubblers for they're journey to the flower room.

The MMs are still experiencing slow growth, once again, I attribute that to the calcium def. The mom is looking better, although I expect both she and the MMs to show some over watering symptoms after the addition of the CalMag Fortified solution. You can see the pools in the pot feet.

Hey, when do you guys start counting your flowering days? From the start of actual budd production, or from the start of 12/12?

I've been counting from the start of 12/12m but they didn't actually start budding until about day 14 of 12/12.

If you count from then, I'm only on about Day 28 (which moves my 60 day mark to about 4/28), but still, seems a tad light.

good words of wisdom to grow by all in all they do seem to be coming around for you even with the def ya had. for this {You can see the pools in the pot feet.} i turkey baster syphon acess water that collects in the drain pans . i used to water in bath tub now i water where they sit
