Okay guys something else has happened today.
Scene of the `crime´: my balcony
We acutally got some snow today (WOW). I looked out the window around mid day and couldn´t believe when saw big snow flakes and everything outside was covered in white. I had hoped for this for christmas but.... oh well.
Anyway later on I moved the curtains of my balcony door and saw something unusual. It was so odd I even took a photo.
One of the markings in the snow actually looks like a shoeprint but I never went out onto the balcony. I can´t explain the larger one at the bottom of the pic either.

that´s true I guess. But I´ve already excluded this possibility due to the location I´m on the second floor from the top and there´s no trees close enough. Otherwise it could be squirrels too. The only possibilty is birds but the marks they make are usually totally different. I simply cannot explain this at all.cats can go places that they shouldn't, nor be expected to go. It's a good thing @armedoldhippy tagged me yesterday afternoon otherwise I might have missed this thread. I have an explanation, @Cuddles. Speedy the Flying Snail dropped in for a visit. He had a rough landing in the snow. The little guy has grown quite large for a snail during his time away from your balcony. The large mark is where he landed first. He slid and bounced and skipped across the balcony towards the top left of the picture. Those are the smaller marks in the picture.

i've seen cats and squirrels (and people) climb shit i would not have thought possible, like block walls etc. but buzz might be onto something, you know? maybe a peeping tom?

this would be first thought if my flat were located on the ground or even the first floor but I´m higher up.
No chance though because I know the upstairs and downstairs people. Also, there´d be real and larger footprints etc. And who would think of climbing up when it´s so cold and during broad daylight? Seems kinda nuts ??
Should I send the photo to the special FBI section office? I wish a meteor or something cool landed on my doorstep for once. I could make some cash on the side lol

You remember Speedy the Flying Snail! He left your brick wall for a world tour. He ate everything a large hungry snail could sink his tiny little teeth into. Did you save him any Christmas cookies?

I only saw the back of him as he was on his way up onto the roof. Never heard from him again.
And the little bastard never even sent me a single postcard
So why on earth should I make this bugger cookies for ? (I didn´t even make myself any!!)

if he went on tour with AC DC or Springsteen behind my back leaving me behind then I´ll never forgive him
poor little fucker was evicted from his shell for non-payment of rent. turns out THAT was a limiting factor for his potential size. after seeing TV ads, he started living in a McDs dumpster and turned into a tubby quickly... those Big Macs are hell on a body...
does not making cookies for yourself make you a sadist, a masochist, or both? did you ENJOY denying yourself fresh hot chocolate chip cookies (and milk!) while you simultaneously craved them?

actually I wanted to make cookies and also wanted to give some away as a christmas gift but I haven´t been too well lately.
