looks great man. i love the big DIY's. i tried to build a big RDWC with uniseals but the buckets leaked so i scrapped it. need thicker plastic wall buckets. some day i will try again. ive got 30 uniseals laying around so why not? haha

Aahhh progress........Healthy lookin bitches my buddy......My only concern is how much yas`re gonna haveta hack out of em once flipped till end of stretch when they start choking each other out sideways competin for light and environment.......but....

I know this is a "prototype" and initial run , so all things in time......We can ALL take note of what`s yet to come and learn for the upcoming runs as it should be.......

Thanks for the input, and the concerns your voicing I can assuage.

E OG will stretch 3x, which compromises half the room, BTH 1&2 I can tell are going to stretch 3-4x that's about 1/4 of the room, and the rest will stretch 2x but those plants are height limited because of the ac air handler anyway.

IOW they should all be hitting the ceiling. And a dense canopy is the goal..

Aggressive training and pruning are both going to be applied.

Hey TA do you not think running few different strains might pose a issue???? with plants over growing others i mean i can already see plants out growing the lit area where your going to might have to raise lights at some point .
in some areas which will effect other area's ???

As Dhf said, the question you pose was indirectly answered above, to expand on that answer, yes crowding will be an issue in the sense I absolutely can't just let them go. I will have to be in there everyday, pulling, bending, crushing, snipping, pulling leafs here and there.

Actually, I tried to put a few of the smallest plants in between the largest so that if the little ones don't stretch the big ones will and they will have room and the ability to fill out gaps in the canopy.

Lol, can't help it, if I could have a 6k flower room for each strain I'd be mono cropping for ease of plant management, and consistency, but alas, I am building my empire from scratch so I'm not quite there yet.






Btw light out tonight will be start of flower, 36 hours dark, and it's off to the races. There is a screen up now too.

All you strainwhore`s that refuse to use smaller rooms ta monocrop are destined to dial said sideways canopy as it develops...and....that`ll test yer mud guaranteed .....but.....builds character.....and .....runs under yer belt so yas can learn what NOT ta do and make shit easier once yas get to the point in your empire where in fact yas CAN monocrop......LOL........

Glad to have you along Femora.



The 36 hour dark period is to make sure they really get the signal to flower.

They flower based on dark period, and that's also when hormones build, so when you give them 3 12 hour dark periods in a row they really blast off from the first lights on period.

It also can shorten flower by a few days, due to elevated hormone levels you'll see flowers earlier.

I dont wanna seem like a turd, but do you have any links to side-by-side experiments with this method?
When I google/read about it it seems like there is a million voices on each side..
It _seems_ like it speeds up the jump into flower, but I cant see anywhere the factor of possible stunting cus of higher hormone-levels been accounted for..(and therefore the final floweringtime may be thesame..)

Im not trying to toss shit around.. I just want to fully understand the event..
