As much as the media has divided the nation, I hope that they are the target of America's anger, not each other.
... this is so irresponsible, as of this moment people literally cannot:
go to the store (or anywhere) without a mask
people are losing their jobs left and right
elderly (and young!) people are dying, alone and isolated, in hospitals and homes
this is literally the worst shape i've ever seen my country in!
all happening right now, in this goddamn moment!
and you think things are going to get worse under biden?
get bent!
Nothing has been done on a national level to help.
CDC has been stifled. The nation's top scientists stifled. Pandemic Dept eliminated.
Nothing but allot of smoke, bullshit, denial and outright lies.
America would not adhere to a complete lockdown,even governor Cuomo acknowledges this.
People are flying state to state where they are required to self quarantine for 14 days,I do not have any statistics to show how many do,However if I had to bet I would say those who do quarantine are in the minority.
I know of a hotel in my state where every employee working there has been ordered to quarantine due to an employee testing positive who has been in close contact with the other staff.My friend who works there is the only employee following the dept of healths order.The department of health is aware of the hotels non compliance to there order,as is the governor's office.Nothing is being done,no closure,no reports on the news...nodda.Its located next door to our airport,people checking in and out daily.
This has become a political virus,nothing more.

there is a vast majority that are adhering to protocols, because you know, they care about others.
then there is another portion of the country that has quite literally politicized science/medicine as the boogieman (sorry boogie, pun intended)

Actually it's not true. The problem starts at the top where state policies were contradicted and a bad example was set.
Why did countries like Germany have the best success rates with covid? Because they set the rules and those rules were followed from the top to the bottom. There was no bullshit and grown adults acting like little children sayin "No I don't want to wear a mask" or "The virus is fake news". They also have a medical system where all people can afford treatment.

Don't the DNC instructions say to mail-in AND vote in person?
The beauty of the electorial college system is, once a candidate has enough votes to win, the extra votes didn't mean shit. If you live in a blue state that is likely to vote dim, might as well stay home, because the other dims will vote the way you want anyways. Nationally America does not operate on a popular vote system, so the extra votes are wasted energy and expense.
If they took the electoral college system and grnularized it to the county level, things would be even more dire for th dims, who generally live (and burn down) the cities.
Go green, don't vote. How many trees were killed for those mail-in ballots?

We did get those instructions in the mail.
Thing is we already knew it was republicans cheating again.
It pissed us off so we organized car pools to make sure everybody who didn't mail in got a ride to the polls and a ride home after.

Its called gerrymandering. IMO the electoral collage is the worst sytem ever. It doesn't elect what the majority want. We talk a big game about Democracy when we don't practice it. Its always been rigged in fav of swing states. It is a waste of time to have the whole country vote whwn only those few states choose who gets elected.
