go ahead and read up on neoliberalism and tell me they don't favor market based capitalism lol. old school republicans like Reagan were basically neoliberals, foreign old school conservatives like Thatcher can be classified as neoliberal as well. and since the republican party continues to move further and further right, the democrats have filled the void the gop has left. they are a center right party masquerading as progressives for votes in the same way cuckservatives pretend to care about abortion for the evangelical vote.
