Term limits are one way. Easily done with simple majorities of both bodies and the presidency.... assuming you dump the filibusterer.... also done with a simple Senate majority vote.
Once the Dems dump that.... all avenues open right up. Pack the court? it can be done. If you like the court with 9 justices you're gonna love it with 15. Make AOC one, that'll get their panties in a real twist. Another fix would be that all the appelate justices are drawn by lot and that group rules on the case. No need even for a Supreme court at all, any judge could be called. Lincoln changed the court to thwart a Southern power grab, this is no different.
Once we fix the court were gonna have to fix it so the Repubs will never have the chance to mess it up. That won't be hard, tRump will hang around their necks until whoever gave him to us calls him back. Still, insurance will be needed. For that we need some new states. Washington DC deserves representation. Also Puerto Rico. And even Guam and the Virgin Islands if you want it so the Repubs are a permanent minority. Once the filibuster is gone that too can be done with a simple majority vote.
Question is; Do the Dems have the stones to run the table? They never have before, but we've never had a threat to our democracy like tRump and his Retrumplicans. Once the "new" court strikes down the ACA and then Roe, I think they will. No way they'll let a tRump packed court stand. Keep in mind the next Senate cycle is just as bad for the Republicans as this one so this ain't gonna end anytime soon for them. Not this year but next....

Do you seriously think their would be no push back. Best case scenario the Republicans play tit for tat. Greater Idaho, there has been talk of splitting California in to 5 states, Eastern Oregon. Texas could be split in to dozens of states.

I've been around weed all my adult life. I have a small personal garden. I do not have to PROVE that to any of you.
I've been active on weed forums for about 11 years, reading for many more. I've done journals/ pix etc. I have no further desires to create a journal/ diary or to post up pix of my grows.
There are those who may not be in an area where it is even remotely safe to discuss their garden on an open forum, yet still would like to be part of various conversations.
Some cannot even share what they do with their own family for cripes sake.
"Keep it secret, keep it safe".

Remember???
If this becomes a prerequisite to being an ICMag forum member, myself and others can always choose to delete our acct. and move on.

Fact of the matter is Washington DC need to be made a state. The people there are constantly shit on by the Feds. The Dems could make 4 new states and the Republicans will be powerless to stop them. Eight new Democratic senators would permanently alter the power in Washington. No Republican states will be admitted because the Republican party didn't bother to market themselves to the youth of today. Thirty years they'll be gone, gone like the dinosaurs, and the dodo.
