If Trump loses.
I can almost guarantee there will be more books written about him by departing cabinet members within the first year then any other president 10 fold.
The knives will be out.
But there are diminishing returns.
After a while stories about "what a dishonest moron Trump is" will just plain not sell, no matter how true they are.
It's kind of masochistic to read those books. They basically document what people already know - that the US went Full Shithole Metal Jacket when Trump is in office.
Who wants to PAY MONEY to dwell on that ?
We hear about it when we read the news, every day.
We get a fresh dose when we dare to watch a Trump press conference.
The thing that's wierd ... normally having a job in a Presidential administration is something people want to have on their resume.
And the job reference from a former or sitting President is NORMALLY quite good for one's career.
Throwing that away to cash out $1 Million from a book, I can understand that.
But the latecomers won't be making so much from their book about the Trump Years.
I guess the young Trump alum's need a job reference, the older Trump alum's, not so much.
