unfortunately im not a link clicker. but seriously, people i meet in real life who wish to discuss politics, i ask them to draw a political left/right scale like the one i made in MS Paint and posted a couple pages ago before the discussion. it's pretty illuminating as most people no matter what side they claim seem to have a different understanding of things.
for instance i did this with one of my friends that i've known for 15+ years now and he made some sketchy choices which explained a lot of his politics in my opinion. plus understanding what media sources he gets his politcs from. for instance he thinks the left/antifa are fascists and his #1 news source is tim pool.
people who post in these threads should open up MS Paint and make a quick left to right scale where you think certain ideologies like capitalism, fascism, anarchism, communism, socialism, and whatever else you feel is important as well as the political parties or whatever else you want to add fall from left to right.

Inappropriate labels are not helpful.
Even people who are very 'company line' still have variations in opinions on individual issues.
The graphic above is deceptive because the middle is not where we are now and shows no trending. Compare the number and type of billionaire business owners now compared to thirty years ago. Look at how their individual efforts to steer politics overwhelm many millions of other individuals and how their unscrupulous greed has decimated small businesses. I believe this is a characteristic of fascism and it is getting worse.
