Hola everyone, how is everything going?
the temple at the moment is hosting no plants
security issues, better safe than sorry... i have some newspaper clippings to show you guys, about a recent local bust... retired university professor of 65yrs old got caught with 57 vegging plants, most were seedlings really... after just 4 days of getting caught, he is already in a jail-cell so that the "dangerous criminal" won't escape; of course, in our state, we've been waiting for tons of murderers to still have a trial. the lesson is that it is ok to kill people but a horrible crime to grow a plant. the dark side of the force has been pushing strongly over our area as of late... a friend got caught at a police check point with a few joints and had to pay the crooked cops half of his monthly minimun slave-wage... some direct tv assholes were also on the roof of a house very close to the temple, they had to see the big bagseed colombian bush that was about to burst flowering, had to chop it down along +20 other plants...
the news of the bust on the paper also caused a local shock-wave, causing reckless paranoia amongst many people to whom seeds were given through og and ic; all neighbors cut down. the brujas (witches/popo/five o) are out for blood atm. i wonder at whose command though...

Very sad to hear that Babylon is also pressuring di gandjaman dem in Venezuela, do Chavez know that it's america prohibited hemp to sell nylon synthetic roaps ?
As the president of Bolivia is protecting cocaleros planters, we need a south american president with strong balls legalizing marijuana and showing the example to other nations that we can develop agriculture, tourism and create a lot of jobs and money ,reduce poverty with this wonderful plant which jah gave us.
Why dem a hate we so ?! Thief, rappers, child abuser get less jail than di gandja farmer dem !
Too much stress to grow at home in this conditions, guerilla or indoor would be safer for you at this time, but i know you already got a B plan

here's the picture of the newspaper as promised, this is the first article that came out regarding this, another one came out after this one but i can't find it anywhere...
the heading literally reads: marijuana cultivation dismantled at university profressor's farm.
the article makes it sound as if the guy was providing marijuana to the whole town and damaging our youths and society in general with his 57 vegging plants... the match boxes in the pics are filled with seeds btw, bad habit if you asked me.

Lo que paso fue que un señor de por estos lares tenia unas cuantas matitas por ahí en su finca y algún vecino lo acuso con la poli, que tal? buenos vecinos católicos…
Y como uno nunca sabe que puede decir la gente por ahí de uno, entonces las nenas que estaban en el templo tuvieron que irse al otro mundo sin antes convertirse en humo.
Es una pena… ahora hay demasiada gente gracias a los artículos de mierda del periodicucho ese pendientes de ver a quien acusan ellos también…

Lo siento Paz, that is terrible news. Always be safe and secure first, the plants can wait. I am in a holding pattern (of not growing) myself for the sake of security. My career demands that I have a clean police record, and has been a borden for many years to me. This is the harvest season for the Northern Hemisphere, i.e. USA, so I imagine it's nasty influence has somethign to do with the recent crack down in some ways. Our news is filled with large scale outdoor grows being busted.

hello lougrew, thank you for stopping by; you are right, the goverment can't, problem is that the newspapers gave a call to the general population to snitch on growers; and as the articles appeared on the newspaper, a couple of dudes installing a direct tv antenna climbed up the roof of a house near-by the temple and had to see the plants inside the temple, so they may get inspired to snitch due to the newspapers.
randude, gracias man, and yes, the country has been affected by a couple of hurricanes, a lot of rains, cloudy and windy days, but hurricanes do not enter our territory thankfully. you may be right, it certainly feels as if the reporters writting the articles about the bust had taken the very same mis-information models in order to write the propaganda pieces to publish in the newspapers.

i had not noticed that the farm had been confiscated, holy cow, these guys ain't leaving anything for anyone else, they wanna eat it all. if you see anyone with a desire to work for the goverment, you know they are in it for the extras, not to run things justly.
as you said, it sounds as if the guy brought some beef upon himself, because just because of 50 something plants he is going to even loose his little farm; although as mentioned before, these guys need not to have beef with you to want to screw you for all you have, it has always been this way.

Es lamentable que el presidente Chávez, que se dice ser defensor de los intereses del pueblo, no tenga ni la intención ni la iniciativa de comprender la verdad acerca de la prohibición de la marihuana. Defiende el uso de la coca en Bolivia y afirma que los pueblos originarios de esa región la han utilizado por centenas de años, pero no se da cuenta, que el cannabis también ha sido usado, no por siglos, sino por milenios. No comprendo como un gobierno que dice que la salud popular es uno de sus objetivos fundamentales NO permite el uso de la marihuana con fines terapeuticos, a la vez condenando el pueblo a utilizar esos fármacos asquerosos desarrollados por los grandes laboratorios.
Y el pueblo ignorante, que despotrica del imperio, de los medios. Pero no se da cuenta que hay 'matrices de opinión' que hasta ellos mismos ya tienen grabadas en su cabeza.
Sin enrollar más, te dejo el link de una asociacion que vela por el cannabis en Venezuela. No tienen muy claros sus fines y no saben que es lo que buscan, si es autocultivo, despenalización, legalización, pero al menos es un comienzo, ya que los políticos no nos van a conceder este 'regalo' y tenemos que organizarnos para luchar y que nos escuchen (siempre siendo cautelosos para evitar abusos a nuestros derechos, sólo por pertenecer a un movimiento). Aún así, no se si lograriamos algo, porque parece que para poder participar en el cambio en este país hay que tener una afiliación política (PSUV) y como ya se ha visto todo el que opina diferente es un envenenado o un lacayo del imperio.
Desconozco tu opinión al respecto de este proceso y que socialista (ojalá lo fuera), y no pretendo ofenderte, así que lo siento si lo hice.
