thanks for the quick and helpful responses everyone! one of my favorite threads ever!
so i really like getting super duper high (to the point of trippiness), but some types throw me off balance. i want to do things like yoga, dancing, tai chi, but my muscles get tense and i have lower coordination and concentration. it seems to be a symptom of modern hybrids in general, but would a pure sativa be the cure?
RasTarzan - Thanks for the recommendations. Your contributions to this thread are very much appreciated. Have you tried Cannabiogen's Ghana? If so, is it a good representation of what was available in Africa?
I think for dancing or for art it is perfect. You can smoke a little for stick and have a nice clear high that don't upset the concentration, time stop to turn and you can go deeply in what you want to do. Just need to smoke more and it can be psychedelic, very flexible. And when it is finish, it is finish, you feel fresh, not heavy on the head like modern hybrides.
That pretty much summarizes my definition of a high quality Cannabis plant... especially the last phrase, the quality of the comedown and how the effect dilutes and takes you back to feeling sober without dizzyness or feeling numb or heavy.
I think the perfect amount of THC (not too much) and the right mix of terpenes contribute to that. Plus smoking gradually and wait to see how the effect evolves before smoking any more. Balance is everything.
so called "crack weed" was lucky enough to score from an old board member. doggystyled73. supposed to be a mix of the most potent types around in the 70's and 80's. wacky weed, thai stick, and northern lights!!!
