My biggest plants this year are Nepalese x Jamaican (ACE NepJam). Branches are starting to shed two months early, and many are over 6 feet tall:

Nice smoke report. Very good, especially from someone so close to Thailand, PNG, and other tropical/subtropical areas where great weed is grown.

Thanks,

ThaiBliss

re trip weed we've talked about strains, curing ( including cobs) and tb, riddleme , thule and others on this thread are posting on another concept that is essential to include in the discussion and very interesting imo. becoming a very hot topic in the cannabis industry: "entourage effect".

I did an "entourage effect" search here at ic and there are 4 pages of posts.

link doesn't work now. do ic search "entourage effect".

Thanks for the post Donald. I submitted the question to you in a reputation note. Zamal, and in my experience Zamaldelica, is definitely one of the most powerful strains I've grown in a long time. Zamaldelica was so easy to grow, it makes me think I can use it to give some kick to an outdoor strain at 42 degrees north.

Idiit - The discussion of the entourage effect is gratifying to hear. I don't remember if I mentioned it here, but I met a researcher in Colorado with a PHD in toxicology who was interested in my Dank Dank strain because of the high level of CBG in it. B.T.W., I kept the cut and I am going to breed to it, among others, from this year's male selection. The focus of the toxicologist's startup company was researching the entourage effect. Until that meeting, I had become frustrated in the local dispensaries who were judging product by THC percentage alone. Now I see hope for the future of predominately sativa (NLD) strains.

Have a great day,

I agree. I love my two Zamal clones and I know there is way better to be found. I'm directing all my seed purchases toward this. Mine are from an old pack. So I wanna grab the newer version as well as packs of golden tiger, destroyer and the breeder pack of Malawi. I imagine that will keep my sativa project full for a while . The Zamal has became my favorite smoke. I literally am bored with just about anything else I smoke lately.

It's great to have both a focused speedy sativa and a soothing emotional sativa, for the different cases :) Zamal and Punto Rojo must be a perfect combo.
I smoke a clean-focus pheno of Zamaldelica all day because of its strong but active high, I can really be productive on it, and then like to smoke a very comfortable and enjoyable red pheno of Panama in the evenings or in the garden to relax and just observe (meditate?).
And when you have such 2 sativas, you can mix them in various proportions to best suit the occasion. In some cases, the result is more than the sum of the parts - a 50/50 mix of this Zamaldelica + this Panama makes an "awesome" effect where you stay with your mouth open and grinning wide, not being able to say much, in awe :) And then, when the "awesomeness" dissipates, you are left refreshed and happy. The relaxing and stimulating effects on the body balance out and it feels cleaner and easier than both ingredients. Other Panama phenos don't mix so well with this Zamaldelica - I have a green pheno, which has a clean and calm effect, which on itself is nice, but it only calms the Zamaldelica in a mix.

Its been awhile since I shared any GN Thai here. I know Ive been hoarding them. Im like a jealous lover. Heh. Ive got a real nice looking lady Im proud of, and I think you all may appreciate her too.

TSG is at Day 92 in the pics, and blowing her sisters away in bud size at this time, and will for the rest of flowering. Are we at donkey-dick stage yet, or still awhile to go???

That's a nice looking Thai..!! Dave. She'll have huge foxtail donkey dicks .As for the Zamaldelica !!! I have the Fem version of both GT and Zamaldelica , which I have grown indoors and out .Both are very similar , Thai looking phenos with abundant foxtail buds. The effect is also similar , with Zam being a bit lighter , happier , more visual effect .!!I prefer the Zam for smell and taste. Whith that great carrot , spicy fruit aroma. Just amazing.!!!! Have some reg seeds of both to pop as well . Good luck on the search for trip weed.!!!!!

My little Cambodian is taking off now. Judging by the serrations it could be pure;)
Anyway I am very excited to see what it has to show.

Good to see Cambodian genetics grown, what is the source? Judging by the leaves only I'm not as optimistic on the purity though, Cambodian strains are known for their pencil slim leaves.

Zamal, GN Thai(?), lots of eye candy here lately! :thank you:

Source is the best smoke the kind soul I got the seeds from could find in Cambodia, bagseed.
I'm sure the leaves thin out soon. When I see Thai or other SE Asian seedlings on here, many look similar and then get really thin.
Time will tell.

Looks quite similar to the Cambodian bagseeds I grew (vegged) last year. Reminded me of the lowland strains they grow in Thailand/Laos up the Mekong river. Khmer Gold and Mekong Haze are examples of the super thin leaved cambo. Wish I could find those, my Mekong Haze seeds refuse to sprout.

Any chance you have some pics of those? And what do you mean with vegged? Did you never flower them?

I feel with you, had some Thais that wouldn't sprout either.

Khmer Gold
So far 2/10 have germinated. Lots of mutated leaves which is normal for such old seeds I guess.

Nope ZanzibarDawa, I didn't get any shots worth keeping at the time. The grow was interrupted, so to say.

Woohoo, Khmer Gold! Are they sill fresh?

GN Thai stick for sure. I just went back and edited the post to include which Thai she is. Its Thai Stick G, 1 of 4 females flowering right now. Im glad you liked her. Ill try to share some more pics of her at Days 120/150/harvest. Ive a feeling Ill want to show her off a bit if she keeps up this pace of bud growth.

Any Thai out there anyone wants to share with us here? Ill show you mine if you show me yours...

Are these from the Gypsy N Collection or another source? Hope you get more to germ. Some fun times ahead I hope. I considered grabbing some from the GN collection at one point, but pissed around too long and missed the chance. Ah well. Got my hands full anyways.
