Well it looks like a lot of posts got deleted.

As far as breeders showing mothers and tests... here's a quote by Chimera that rings true today....

"SHOW YOUR WORK. If it has validity, you will be able to reproduce it. Again, SHOW YOUR WORK. All else is internet-blahblah-babble AFAIC."

Although i haven't seen any pictures, or heard back from queries for information, Its most likely that the BC roadkill Chimera holds is from the same genetic lineage/maybe the same cut, as my dad and his buddies had, and also from what Sam said, ours is not skunk #1, so I imagine the BC roadkill isnt derived from skunk#1 either.

It is safe to say no Road Kill Skunk will be found just like with Cannacopia. They are targeting the customer why else would you sell untested seeds? Even after Cannacopia did not live up to expectations and it was Chimera's cut.... Pictures will prove nothing just going to have to wait 3 months and I'll be back to say told you so until then.:deadhorse

Pictures of the roadkill skunk mom of other people compared to the pics i saved are an interesting comparison imo. I recently was looking back through this thread and found pics i posted of my plant(selfed seed from roadkill, not the clone) in bud, i will go dredge them up again for pictures sake.

edit: dredged.

in my opinion, the first two bud pics are more reminiscent of the mom than the third.

Hashmaster, have you not got an old selfed seed or leaf you could send to Sam for dna analysis? If so, pm him to see if he is interested?
Perhaps it's an afghan x skunk#1? Just a guess?

Lots of leaf available, and your guess sounds like possibly a good one, as Sam made that guess too, post # 728:

I also sold Skunk #1 X Afghani #1 seeds pre 1980, maybe it is that? Let me smell the buds and I bet I could tell. But it is not pure Skunk #1. Maybe a hybrid?

pretty much just like roadkill skunkweed, but a lot milder than its mom. It holds the same reek up until harvest, and especially when trimming, but the smell doesnt hold true through drying. The mom pretty much reeked the same the whole time.

Which traits?

Well there is quite a few.

The unusual square topped buds, the way the leaves grow out of the buds, the over all structure, the calyx to leaf ratio and the thick dark green leaves seen on strains like og and Chem 91.

If you look at pics posted by good Ole dog of the 91 you'll see what I mean.

I've seen pics of the 91 grown by nspecta that show the same square toped buds, the 91 seems to look a little different from grower to grower but I trust both good Ole dog and the nspecta are running the real thing.

I have an enlarged picture of Good ole dogs skunk va on my wall. I kiss it every morning.

I see what you mean.

Imvho, it looks a little more ogish than 91. I guess. Smaller bud sites. A little leafier too?

In the top picture the far right branch looks just like some sfv from where I am sitting.

But a picture can only tell so much

I think its about page 187 on this thread, where a guy relays a story about where chem91 came from, and it was from 13 seeds found in some pot described in one instance as smelling like a dead skunk.

Dog bud

Yep thats the story I am talking about.
He found like 4 keepers.
91, sis, 4, D.
If irc the 4 was the closest to the original?

@ HMK, the leaf shape and colour are very Chem like.
Even has the red stems.

If def has that affi stockyness a skunk would be much taller/ stretchy.
Maybe a Chem(dog bud) x HP hybrid.

I'm going to do some Chem x HP / affi crosses to see what happens.

Who has the best Columbian Gold?
Acapolco Gold ?
And a killer Afghan?

I'll remake the legend.

@Sams, any terp guides to how the Columbian smelt. Tasted etc.
