Its out there. There are thousands of growers that have never heard of icmag and some who have never heard of the intrawebs even. I do not believe for a second any seed company out there has it. Either you do or you don't, its that simple. There is no maybe lol not faking this one with a name.

It is definitely not extinct. It is in Sam's vault. When this plant is legal everywhere I bet Sam will have one helluva seed catalog for sale, and I don't suspect RKS will be cheap.

Someone go buy 100 packs of Seedsmin skunk and open pollinate and get to work. Its in there, deep, but there.

Skunk thiols and mercaptan terps apparently degrade quick. Even if you found a live RKS smelling plant it doesn't mean it'll stay that way all the way to consumption.

That's what I remember, it was just called skunk and was nothing sweet at all. Not sure if what I remember as a kid is what everyone may be referring too but I just have my doubts that it was one single variety. Seems like lots of the REGULAR weed here on the east coast in the mid 90s was pretty damn good. Still had schwag around but those bright green stinky buds I remember very well.

Yup my dad and his friends used to smoke rks/skunk here out here back in the late 80s early 90s. If I was around as a kid when they lit up they would look around asking if we had a dead skunk in the yard trying to play off the smell.

It's odd but I still kind of remember it all these years later, probably because at that point I had never smelled any thing like it before. Skunky rotting flesh with a super ripe garlicky/rancid blue cheese odor and a shit ton of sulfur.
Sort of like Chem D but at the same time nothing like it

So, rank Affie x Sk1 = possible RKS, is that what you guys are suggesting? Wouldn't it be more prudent to self the rank Affie? What about Affie dominate hybrid x hybrid or poly x poly? Think crossing that/those w/ Sk1 would be doable, or too much variation?

With cannabis becoming "legal" (regulated to allow an exclusive industry) I see there being something of a race on our hands. The industrial grows will be trying just as hard as us to bring back all the old-school strains; RKS being around the top of the list.

Im sure a few members have some old Affy/Paki's that they've been holding/working in for a Long time.
Can we get some Colombians, Mexi's and all the Skunks to these members/off-grid growers.

Well i got to try the "Loud Skunk" last night, although it reeks like skunk, it was a darker green and had hairs. The high was like any other weed, good but nothing special. So its just as i imagined, it smells like skunk looks dank but not the same as that lime green goodness from back in the day.

Sure, immediatly eyes get red and squinty, followed by fits of giggling or staring at the floor whichever is your deal, followed by fridge rape.....then take the second hit. .
It's def a heady thing and happy, but more introspective than the sweet skunks. Seemed a more indica stone than the sweeter skunk. Loaded feeling yet eurphoric. Very potent, red eyed, stoned to the bone.

So basically in moderation it is giggle pot, over toked equals drooling tard. Best I can do.

You forgot the cotton mouth, so thick water doesn't help. It had zero ceiling, very euphoric. Truly one hit wonder, you just didn't need anymore than a small toke and the high lasted hours. The main thing was zero tolerance, it was the only weed i couldn't build a tolerance too and that's a very important feature to that smoke. I would love to know the special ingredient for the no tolerance weed.
The stuff i smoked Friday night didn't have any kind of sweet to the smell, it wasn't quite skunk spray though, it was like skunky rotten garlic. I passed on the cut.

i have ran some and they were mediocre at best.. and not that skunky.. Real Killer Skunk is a pass for me. But for the price i was willing to risk it..

and i have had great luck with Reserva Privada seeds and i assume these are the old stock that i bought way back.. even back then they were priced to sell.

Hey wish me luck, I DO have a seed that grew for me from the original BC skunk roadkill we had for 20 years since 1980. I am going to try to get the skunk funk to come back full force, it is the true genetics, but its a seed from the clone, so therefore not the same. It will take time and work but there is definitely hope!

The way the skunk stone was different than anything else as i see it, was the level of penetration into the brain. A typical high may get your forehead feeling warm and loose, a body stone in the frontal lobe region. The roadkill high would give you a body stone into the center of your brain.

t because there is something else in this plant I have that is unique and I've not found anywhere else. Making an inbred line only re-enforces the traits of interest, making it easier for someone else to grab- if they figure out what it is that is so useful..

This is killing me. I know you won't tell me what it is but you have my head just churning with what it is. What is it? Just had to ask so you know I want to know.

Maybe the thing Chimera is talking about has to do with the longevity of the high? possibly another cannabinoid? Another terpene? A new chemical? A hormone? fuck I think my brain is going to die of thinking what it is.
