That is what breeding is man, how do you not understand this? Sam took two strains put them together and made other strains one happen to be a Skunk strain. Common sense goes a long way. I know dubi and charlies. Dubi does make his own strains, he just put out multiple crosses of his stuff. You are just seeing rage and not the truth. Cannabis was around a lot longer then any of us. Records of people smoking Cannabis back in 4000 BC. It's not rocket science.

if you heard that in the last 35 years it holds water. as well if you heard it 70 years ago,, but during the mid/late 70's the ghanis of the north were all broad, and skunky as hell,, they made their way south into pakistan and northern india,, where they met with some of the worlds oldest and finest cerebral cannabis. much history has past since then and everything is muddied up plenty by now,,

I have ran two different ones of Sams but they where ok nothing special. I don't run his gear because it doesn't pay out shit to cannabis dispensaries. They are looking for top notch gear 20%+. Just a fact of life.

There are no Skunks in Oceania either . So to hear Ozzies talkin RKS I know they are bull shitting .

So I'm bull shitting am I? Someone couldn't have possibly smelt a skunk in a zoo? or in another country? Lets just say when someone visit America where there is skunks.
I have queried several RKS hunters from outside the USA .In EU , UK ,Oz even Africa what their reference was ?
My reference is a skunk, believe it or not. I don't care.

My theory is that mexican weed was sprayed with artificial skunk scent to divert the dogs, this is why the odor profile is so rare to non esistent. My theory holds water because I was seeing mexican mids that stunk like a skunk in the late 90's , if there was a true skunk stinky plant of any value around as recently as the 90's we'd all know about it.

I had many in the 90's. even into the 2000's.

So to go with your earlier theory as well, how would Afghans, Pakistani's or Northern Indians know that it is called skunk when they don't have them? Could it be someone named them that and they got passed around, to people from lots of different continents?

I think its unrivaled stench is what makes it good, unique. Even if another line is stronger, bigger yielder or whatever else it still can't compete with the scent factor! Many people with many memories tied to that smell!

May not be true RKS but this sounds raunchy;

Here we have a strain that Bodhi made called the Garlic Pickle (Road Kill Skunk x '88 G13/HP) that is outright the most bizarre strain we have seen yet. She smells like a mix of freshly opened bag of Cool Ranch Doritos and rotting, decaying hamburger meat. The smell has evolved on a daily basis and there is still some time to go, but apparently this son of a gun is going to be smelling like a full on garlic dill pickle soon... How crazy is that?

We have skunks in the U.K as its legal to keep them as pets here, though in 2007 it became illegal to have there stink gland removed so not as popular as was a few years ago.
