Good afternoon BC friend!!! Just back from 3 mile walk. Few hits of hash then onto a Newman's Own thin crust pizza for dinner. I've been feeding a mouse, it loves pasta. It's a chore now, fruit, granola...popcorn or a piece of bread. Hope you are doing well buddy. Are you high???

Nope, not high until evening, from Mon-Thur no day time high only around 6PM do I eat some cookie. On the weekend I will sometimes have a sativa dominant cookie in the afternoon. I can't remember the last time I got high in the morning, it seems like forever.

Do you have a pet mouse?
Hippy was showing me a picture of a Wooly Mouse like a Wooly Mammoth, he would like one of them.

OMIGAWD, Subbie! This is WONDERFUL! It is almost exactly as it was told to me 70 years ago, all the way down to some quotes. I am amazed that my memory from hearing it all at 8 was so spot on, if a little spotty.

I have no memory of him telling the Family about two others going down. Coulda been censored from a little kid, because otherwise it is a funny, exciting story told and retold over decades.

I have a quibble: He said he sat on the wing. <-- That don't make, he coulda -- prolly did -- do both. But one thing they guaran-damn-teed got wrong...

There are 115 known spellings of the Snedeker Family name. And every writer who refers to our Family makes up his own phonetic spelling. It so happens I actually have my 11-times Grampa's signature; Snedeker

Whoever wrote or transcribed that sooper accurate article spelled his name wrong. Newspapers always do: it is a journalism requirement.

I'm looking to make a recipe besides the the Lemon & Poppyseed Muffins.
I usually make a Lemon, coconut and blueberry loaf but was thinking maybe something different.

Anyone have a favorite lemon dessert that can be frozen?

I was just now getting back here to tell you thank you so very much for something I could never have found by myself. I remember that narrow, happy face.

I remember the two Godlike figures that fashioned my life values -- to my satisfaction -- as a young child in the presence of heroes: Unca Irv and Unca Harry.

You are communicating with an octegenarian who never saw weed, never knew anyone who knew anyone who saw weed, much less smoke it -- until the first time (six months or more between times) when I was about fifty.

I still depend on the folks here because as a dinged-helmet GI, I cannot buy weed legally (fed, d'ysee) even in Floriduh where I live about 7 miles from a weed store.

Nope. He married my Aunt Dee Tee. A real looker. Unca Harry was John Wayne. He had that squinty eyed thing, and a slow way of walking and talking.

I realized after posting an answer to your follow up that I may not have answered your initial question. If you are referring to Musk's company stock, Tesla etc, definitely so. Funds that are holding Tesla especially are not at all pleased for several reasons, at least. They perceive that he is not minding the shop (and minding his own business, as well). Ultra rich folk do not favor overly "loud", and what they might perceive as "outlandish behavior". He has become very public. And sales of Tesla cars have dropped like a rock. I think there is a genuine concern, especially since the zero emissions mandate is now obviated, that the car is more of a fad than a long term investment. The stock has tanked since mid December of last year. Today it lost nearly 12% - a lot of volatility. The Chairman of the Board of Tesla (Robyn Denholm) sold ALL of her Tesla stock, before the crash happened, which has not gone over well, at all. FWIW I do not own it.. I'll post a chart below that shows it's lost over half its value in just 3 months time.

IMHO all electric cars are a fad and in 10 years they will be a collector item only…
