-flipped my truck and broken neck 5 places , got to ride a chopper lifeflight

won’t bore anyone with 4-5 other close calls

but yeah , i appreciate life.. I got some borrowed time


took a drive to the big city today to get a few supplies

I’ve been in and out of that rabbit hole for the last 10 years and believe me it’s no place you wanna hang… my buddy just came by with my groceries for the week and he brought me some homemade New England clam chowder. It tastes really good and I’m hoping I can keep it where I’m putting it.

I can make some darn clam chowder, but tough to get the main ingredients down here. One secret, the more cream and butter, the better

After days of playing phone tag with changing Medicare part B providers I think we have that mess straightened out to where I'll actually get to choose the A team for my upcoming procedures.

Got the runaround myself with the social security office today trying to get a copy of momma’s SSA-1099 finally after 40 minutes of telephone wait time and another 40 minutes of bouncing to another area to retell my story, they are suppose to be sending me one.

Is the Lilac Diesel a local strain? You are relatively close to Highland Park and I remember going to check out the Lilac Festival there as a kid.

No, it's from Ethos Genetics. It's an auto I grew this summer. I won the seeds on a different board. I've grown 6 autos in my life and Lilac Diesel is my favorite so far. I don't see myself pursuing Autos much more, so it may just be my goat.

Thankfully I was dealing with the Companies that offer the plans for part B not Medicare directly. Changing from this one to that one as the Specialist I want wasn't in the current network. Then we got wrapped up in AARP as the broker and damned if they didn't sell me a bill of goods I didn't need or want.

After sleeping (or not as the case was) for a night the wife called our current plan agent who is as sharp as they come, and he was like NO!!!! You just wanted to change your existing plan to include Docs in a different network not buy a supplemental plan.

Mother of God they don't make it easy, and I think it's designed to drive you nuts with the blasted runaround.

Once again, I feel like warmed over poo. I have basically been in bed for two days with the issues I’m having with my stomach. Major acid indigestion, and other pain that I can’t describe. My buddy is at the grocery store picking up supplies for me because I don’t see me getting very far from the house for the next few days. On a lighter note, I must’ve popped 50 beans and all of them are popping out of the soil today. If I can find the energy to keep up with my garden, I should do well this time around… The boys are out under the carport, being very good puppies, but every once in a while, Ivan will find something to take exception to… Thanks for asking Dog, I don’t plan on leaving but I might be miserable for a while while I’m here…
