Even the slightest bit of moisture on or in that pvc pipe and the elec will run right down the pvc pipe via tje moisture right into you.

They are fiberglass with lockable ends about 1-1/2" in Dia.
It's the only thing I'd use.

No. That might not be long enough. i think the pole is maybe 30-40 ft high…
