I rarely raise or lower lights anymore. Just leave them at top, and adjust power to suit.

might go arrowhead hunting on this fine day

we scouted out a couple spots yesterday , some bluffs about 13 miles north of us…looks promising

we may also hunt for some stolen treasure….heard some stories about robbers and murder and buried gold on this property that was planted with about a 100 cottonwood trees

my guess is the gold is buried by one of those trees

WHOA -- There is a new series out on the line of "Band of Brothers" or "Pacific".

It's about B-17 dudes. The reviews have me sold. I watched a tiny snippet (see below) and had my blood racing. I gotta find out how to see the series.

One minute that will get your blood pounding:

One review -- the guy writing it is a descendant of a B-17 pilot, and his review itself is riveting.

Remember "12 O'clock High"? Both movie and TV show. Never missed an episode back then.

I always had good luck using a method taught to me by a guy with the largest collection of Native American artifacts. He went to a pretty good size non-power boat fishing lake when it hadnt rained in a long time. Lake would be low and what were now banks were underwater before. Then he would search that area. Sure worked for him!

Is it gonna get taller? She pretty high…
The flowers seem to be starting to develop more so I'm hoping the stretch is done. I'm completely clueless with this one and am just sitting back and letting her take me for the ride.

I'm not commited to her finishing, but it would be cool if she can go the distance. This is my first Landrace I've ever seen in real life unless you count some of the Mexican bag seeds we experimented with in the 80's that may or may not have been crossed already.

With full jars and a love of growing, she brings something a little different and fun into the Dungeon.

good morning peoples...tweaked my lower back yesterday pull staring a lawn vacuum...pain on top of pain is in order for today...seems dogster tweaked his back as well...
Commiseration brother! For some reason I regularly pull a muscle or pinch a nerve in my upper back, which are shrieking pains, vis a vis the groaner pains in my lower back.

Heat has been the best solution that I've found, though TENS device helped with the most severe one.

I suggest a metal detector if looking for buried gold.

I liked to walk newly plowed fields after a rain, to find points, et al, just lying on the ground ready to be picked up.

You make me want to plant a couple tall ones in my next outside grow. No way I could grow it in my tent but would be a nice change up for sure. I’m gonna start looking a strains before spring gets here… I’m glad she quit stretching, you don’t have much room left. May need a yoyo to bend her under the light if she gets any taller

Ex wife had an Uncle that had a farm in rural Missouri. You could find tons in there, but many were broken by the plowing.

Good luck! Great day for a treasure hunt. Supposed to get up to 60 later.

I need to take advantage of this and wash pots.

I was both clueless and skeptical when I crossed over to LED's. I didn't know whether the light had enough power so the chain was used. After a few grows with it I now know there is more then enough power to hang it at the very top of the space.

The threat of the skinny girl reaching the light gave me the motivation to finally get it lifted and the chains out of there.
