Must be 1000 ways to kill someone - many would be quicker than suffocation - that murderer just 86'ed in the USA with nitrogen gas should have been topped on pay-per-view TV - with the proceeds going to the victims families -Inert gases are supposed to be a fairly easy, non-panicked way to go, but I'd never heard about nitrogen as a primary gas until I heard this news story on the radio the other day.
The more common gases I was aware of were helium and CO2.
Fools the lungs and brain for most of the duration into believing they're receiving oxygen... until they're not. Possibly a bit of panic at the very end.
